We also still have no proof that Rose exists except eclipse saying so, since we regained a kid. So uh, yeah. What do we want to do now? scorri Posted March 22, 2012 Share Posted March 22, 2012 Exactly. I feel like we're missing something. I feel that if we had beaten everyone we needed to beat, the game would be over. But it's not. Which indicates to me that there's another threat out there. We have 7 people left, one of who is confirmed for certain since Iris died and came back to life, one who is basically confirmed since there's no reason for Snike to claim to be a dangerous character like Doc Scratch unless he actually was, and then 5 people who are claiming to be trolls, one of whom may or may not actually be Rose. So, if we assume that Snike is indeed the only person left who is stopping the game from ending, the what we say we're going to do is let him scan everyone, and then kill him. But, if we assume that there's someone else out there who can kill, then no lynch seems really dangerous to me. So, eclipse claimed to have a random bag of abilities each of which could be used once. Eclipse: Jack Noir Rein/Aradia: Dave Strider Luster Purge/Proto: Vriska Serket Naglfar: Karkat Vantas Excellen: Jade Harley alive Kiryn/kdanger: Terezi Pyrope > Aurora/JB: Gamzee Makara (most likely confirmed via certain stupid abilities <3<) scorri: Nepeta Leijon Iris: John Egbert (mod confirmed via death and subsequent revival) Snike: Doc Scratch (seems pretty likely anyway) Centurion/Kay: Equius Zahhak Shinori: Feferi Peixes and allegedly there is a Rose floating around in there somewhere, disguised >:\ Obviously we're not entirely bound by canon here, but it provides a reasonable backdrop... there are a couple things I could see happening that might make things less simple than they currently appear. --There could be an event that would trigger Gamzee going off his meds. --Vriska similarly might have been a hazard except she's dead. --Killing Doc Scratch could summon Lord English, which would most likely have very painful consequences for us all. --Someone could be another killer character in disguise, like Eridan or the Condesce. Kill Doc: This could possibly cause Lord English, but it's a risk we're going to run into if we lynch him after he's reached his alt win anyways. No lynch: We go into a night phase with the risk someone else will have killing power, essentially giving them a free kill and reducing the possibility of us all winning. Kill someone else: Possibly catch someone that's lying in their role, possibly just kill an innocent. Basically the same result as killing Gamzee. He was helpful and chill and stoned all the time, and then one day he stopped being stoned and started killing people. I don't actually think killing JB is a good idea yet, but I do think we should keep an eye on him. I'd say either kill Snike or no lynch, but I have major doubts for either option. Sure we could let Snike continue to have fun scanning people and the rest of us doing nothing, and then everyone wins in the end. Or, we could do what we're supposed to do and kill people. We know that he's out to get the kids. That means that as far as Rein and Iris are concerned, he's the enemy. Why are we just letting him go free? My only concern is that it might not actually be possible for Snike to win via scanning because Vriska died and her having what he needs (the cueball) makes the most sense.
