Integrity
Dat Rules - Ratings are assumed to be on Hard Mode. - Votes need some explanation regarding their gameplay performance to be counted. If somebody else said what you want to already, quote them explicitly. +/- ≤1 point extra regarding personality/appearance is encouraged, but no more. If you exercise your bias privileges, please do so explicitly. - Numerical votes out of 10, or something proportional to it. Make it easy to calculate for my sake. - Every ranking phase ends whenever I get out of bed, between 0700 and 0800 EST. Do the math for your timezone, Brits. - I will insist you do not use the "Not X" reason on any character, where X is another unit. If you do, your vote will be thrown out. - Characters should be rated for their performance on all possible routes (A/B / Sacae/Ilia) but should not be penalized for routes they physically cannot exist on (z.B Juno in Sacae). - "Recruits X" or "takes you to X chapter" arguments are explicitly banned. C'mon, people, this shouldn't need to be a rule. That's not gameplay performance. - I withhold the privilege to tell you your rating is bogus and demand you revise it if it breaks any of the above. I will not throw out votes anonymously, you will be informed and given a chance to revise. Shin
He's bald with average supports and C rank axes. His speed isn't great, he's practically a berserker version of Bartre. That HP is nice, but his defenses aren't great. 3.5/10 - Filler, but he's not bringing anything new to the table.
Onmi
3/10 Neither good nor really bad, he's a Berserker so he gets 60 Crit with a Killer Axe, but off a mountain he's fragile as all hell. He surprised me by having a support with actual miniscule depth in it though. Still if he can keep to mountains he's fineish
MacLovin
Nice filler. Good HP and str base, shaky everything else. 60 crit with killers and stuff give him nice one hit potential and peakwalkinh Wyverns is nice. 3/
ZemZem
Garret's not amazing, but he's still alright. He gets okay HM bonuses, but he's still pretty slow due to a 25% SPD growth with a base of either 10 or 11. Though, due to his high STR, give him a killer axe and he'll wreck things. Good candidate for deployment in chapter 21. 4.5/
Thor Odinson
Slow as fuck but can tank dragonknights on a peak with a killer axe 3.5/
PuffPuff
The only thing he has going for him is his base stats. Not like it's going to save him for long. At least the HM bonuses are what makes him worthwhile to use for awhile. Garret should support with anyone. Lilina, Geese, Lalum, Cath, Gonzales. Since his support affinity goes well with any of theirs. 4.5/10 Edited May 20, 2012 by リンダ
Colonel M
Slow Spd? Check. No Spd growth? Check. Lacks the CON to use Axes? Check. Has nice HM Bonuses otherwise? Check. Garret is kind of a souped up version of Bartre, only Bartre starts with A Axes and Garret starts with C... yeah... it's kind of weird. 20.85 base Str is pretty good when you're rocking Killer Axe's 11 Mt, making Garret have about 33 Atk on Wyvern Riders and Wyvern Lords. His best role is taking out Wyverns on Peaks, and he has the upper hand of requiring no real training, a Hero Crest, and special ferrying service like Gonzales does. So his flexibility is a little more useful than Gonzo's. Pity that, if Gonzo reaches 10/1, he's pretty comparable to base Garret. Kind of scary too. He won't ever ORKO the Dragon Lords, though, at least he leaves a hefty dent if he hits and lands a critical. If you give him a Speedwing, he can double Generals with a Hammer too... but... really why bother? 3.5/10.
Shadow Mir
Garret should support with anyone. Lilina, Geese, Lalum, Cath, Gonzales. Since his support affinity goes well with any of theirs. Besides the part where most of those supports build slooooooowly... And how many of the characters on that support list are even worth using?? That aside, 3.5/10. He can be useful in chapter 21 with its trainloads of Wyvern Riders/Lords.
General Horace
useless off a peak 2/
Duff Ostrich
Garret's the coolest guy ever but +30 crit doesn't make up for Bartre being just as good several chapters ago. Garret is in a position to worry about getting doubled as time goes by, which is really lame. I don't even want to think about how he does in Sacae. 4.0, with bias. Ansem
Filler, you know I usually have my Paladins S rank so they can use the S rank weapons. Alan is usually my main axe user, dont think I need another one. 3/
DarthMikey
Garret is a pretty cool guy who doesn't afraid of anything. He has an HP base of 55, and he's a level 1 Berserker. Yeah. If ANYONE'S going to cap HP, it's this bro right here. He has a nice STR base of 21, and it's even likely to improve if you give him a level or two, since he's got a 45% growth in it. His SKL is fine at 16, but SPD is an issue. He has a base of 11; which already was considered bad at the time of Bartre's recruitment. With a 25% growth you can't expect it to get better anytime soon, too. What's even worse is that he arrives with a measly C in axes, so no Brave Axe for him; and that's if somebody isn't using it already. 10 DEF is kind of mediocre, but his monstrously high HP means he can still serve as an effective tank, especially if you throw him on a peak. He's quite useful for exactly this, actually; tanking Cavaliers and Dragon Knights as he sits on a peak. They may double him, but he's generally pretty effective at drawing them away. He's far from perfect and one of the most useful things he can do for you is a bit of a stretch, but he's not totally without merit. 3.5/10 Edited April 16, 2012 by Cosmic_Harold
Raven
Eh, decent str and skl bases, but his growths are nothing to write home about. Base def is not good either, but the HP is good at least, especially when he's on a peak. C axes, really? 35%.
Biabarr
C axes, terrible terrible speed, and not very good bases. One of the many reasons why my favorite axe users in this game are the palies (mainly Percy...). Also, foot unit. 2/
DarthMikey
I modified my score after thinking over some things. At this point, 11 SPD is more crippling than I initially thought.
Integrity
well, tallying garret will be easy I guess
