Sorry to everyone... I felt like a lot of the information was lost translating from it's original text into Chinese.

I can remove my own comments and leave the ones that were supposed to be more informative on the translating side.

Yeah, my apologies...

Whoo, two in one day; I apologize for consistently flubbing the A support.

[spoiler=SumiaxTiamo]

[spoiler=SumiaxTiamo C]

Sumia: ...It'll be okay, it won't be okay, it'll be okay, it won't be okay...

Tiamo: Sumia, what are you doing?

Sumia: Ah, Tiamo. Trying to determine what will happen in the next fight...

Tiamo: A flower divination?

Sumia: Yes. Is it funny...?

Tiamo: It's not, but...I'm not used to relying on fortune-telling. You should shape fate with your own hands.

Sumia: ...Tiamo is amazing.

Tiamo: Eh? Why?

Sumia: Because, you try hard until we get there, is what I would say? Because I'm unable to hold out until we get there...

Tiamo: It's not like that. You need to determine your own limits!

Sumia: But...

Tiamo: Then, let's try and help you. From now on, flower divination is forbidden!

Sumia: Eehh!

Tiamo: It's fine. You won't have to face that kind of anxiety. If I get by without things like divination, so can you.

Sumia: Ye, yes...

[spoiler=SumiaxTiamo B ]

Tiamo: Sumia, how are things going?

Sumia: Ah, Ti-Tiamo. Yeah...N-not bad...?

Tiamo: ? What's wrong?

Sumia: Eh? W-What's wrong? Is there something weird about me?

Tiamo: ...Right now, aren't you hiding behind something?

Sumia: Ehh? I-I'm not hiding anything?

Tiamo: Lies, you still have the divination flower, don't you?

Sumia: I-I don't have that kind of thing...

Tiamo: Show me.

Sumia: It's just your imagination...

Tiamo: Sumia.

Sumia: ...Here.

Tiamo: ...I knew it. I told you they were banned.

Sumia: I'm sorry. But, I knew I would need to use the divination flower again.

Tiamo: Why?

Sumia: Because holding on to it helps me move forward...

Tiamo: But, what if the divination turns out badly?

Sumia: That doesn't matter.

Tiamo: I wonder about that.

Sumia: Yes. Now that you've seen it, you should move along.

Tiamo: ...I'm not convinced, but if you say so...

Sumia: Ufufu...

[spoiler=SumiaxTiamo A ]

Tiamo: Sumia, you've been in good condition lately, huh?

Sumia: Ah, Tiamo. Hey, is this about what I said before "Holding on helps me forward."

Tiamo: ...But I have to admit I'm afraid. What do you mean? I know what you said, but I'm not convinced.

Sumia: Because you said divination was forbidden, for a while, I stopped. But then, I dissolved into a pile of worries, as I knew I would...

Tiamo: Worries? Why?

Sumia: Because, I don't know what will what will happen at all now...

Tiamo: Yeah. I'm not certain that future is correct. [she actually says normal, but I think correct fits better]

Sumia: But, my divination tells me.

Tiamo: I understand that...You don't know if it's right or not.

Sumia: ...The fact is, it doesn't have to be right.

Tiamo: Eh?

Sumia: If the result is good, don't I work hard to preserve that outcome? But if it's a bad outcome, I try and avoid it. Like that, either results in a good condition, don't you think?

Tiamo: Ah...like that, certainly...

Sumia: The reason I've been at my best is because of my divination.

Tiamo: I see. Sumia, your best. Whether it's because you're with, or another reason.

Sumia: Yes. For a moment, my strength did not come from the divination. Therefore, I realized it must be you, Tiamo. Thank you very much.

Tiamo: You're very welcome. Sumia, if you were to continue confidently serving with me, I'll be glad. ...But. That approach is different than mine. In the future, I know to be more open-minded.

Sumia: Yeah. That approach is best for Tiamo.

On to RonkuxSariya!

Urgh ... Sumia is NOT endearing herself to me at all. I think she's going to end up being my least favorite playable, even before the game is confirmed for NoA.

lol i think i passed a chapter where krom is talking to lucina. And sumia(mother) was like busy plucking the flower's petal maybe its the flower divination ritual xD

That's the chapter Lucina joins in; I thought she was just freaking out when I watched, but come to think of it, that probably is what she was doing.

Yeah, of the four supports with her in them, Rufure's is the best, and Henry's is pretty good, but that's because of him, not her. With Krom's, it kind of annoyed me when she said that it took her 15 attempts to make one meal, like "What a giant waste of supplies." In Tiamo's, she was alright for the first two, even if it almost seemed like she was an addict. But then the sheer stupidity of her talk of fate made me angry.

Also probably not helping is the fact that I really like Krom, and the game pretty much sets Sumia up as his canon wife in the opening movie and by giving her highest priority.

Sumia just convinces me more and more that she does not belong on a battlefield. I mean, I thought that I would dislike Mariabel because her character description calls her "haughty", but her supports so far proved me wrong. But Sumia's supports just continue to make me think that she has no place on a battlefield. I was also the least happy with her supports with Krom. It makes her seem downright pathetic. (I like Mariabel's supports with Krom better. Waiting for Olivia's as well.)

Sumia doesn't belong on the battlefield? Well... That's one of her concerns yes but then again we have people like Sariya, Henry, Nono, Donny, Richt, and so on whose disposition or age can be a factor as to why they shouldn't be on the battlefield.

Kind of like Florina (because I would) since apparently being young anxiety wracked girl is grounds to not be on the battlefield. Or something. Any who. Just roll with it. There's plenty of other stupid crap that doesn't make sense in FE.

Richt, Donny, and Nono shouldn't be on the battlefield either. The former two are kids, and the latter has the mind and body of a kid even though she's several hundred years old. Sariya and Henry seem to be kind of ... twisted, in their respective ways. But they don't seem to doubt themselves the way Sumia apparently does, nor do they feel as if they aren't "up to the task".

Remember when I said that I originally didn't like Florina and I'm still not her biggest fan? This is why. Florina doesn't belong on a battlefield either.

Also, Kramgnauh, I just do not like characters like Sumia. I find them pathetic, not at all cute. We're just going to have to disagree on that.

Eh. I don't why peeps think certain people don't belong on the battlefield when I'm pretty organizations and junk don't typically who serves so long as they have soldiers. Especially back then. But then again my knowledge of ancient warfare is based on Dynasty Warriors so that isn't exactly a good reference.

I don't know ... the thing is, if you're capable of fighting and willing to, then theoretically it shouldn't be a problem. But one weak-willed soldier who needs people watching out for him/her or one incompetent one who doesn't know what s/he is doing can really make the difference. Take Lyn and Florina as an example, or even Neimi. In their C, Lyn is watching out for Florina a little too much and she even asks Kent in Lyn's mode if he wouldn't mind giving her "special attention". Neimi cries. About everything. The thing is, a competent who is willing to fight and die for a cause shouldn't need special treatment on a battlefield. Self-doubt can lead to poor decisions, which can lead to not only your demise but that of your allies. Either way, FE is chock-full of characters who don't belong on a battlefield. But some characters are worse offenders than others.

The same can be said of people in real life but I won't go too much into the subject since I'd just end up going off topic as I am now...

Sorry about that peeps. ;/

I don't really like Sumia either, that squeaky voice ruined the character for me and it hasn't gotten better yet. I hate her even more when I think she's Krom's canon wife since I like him and I don't think she deserves him, but then I'm a shallow person.

There's nothing wrong with disliking a fundamentally shallow character. Unless Sumia decides to be more that just an airhead, then she really isn't worth it. It's an incredibly boring character archetype by itself.

It's almost as bad as Ilyana and her "always fucking starving" gimmick.

meh

I find them amusing and endearing and all that junk.

Please refer to my Nono avi which is back due to popular demand.

I don't hate Nono, it just that I find her having a kid icky. In fact, my first reaction to her was that she's pretty cute. I'm still probably not going to use her that much, not because she's a loli, but because I don't really use manaketes(that includes Tiki).

I don't hate Nono, I just don't like the idea of her being paired. Plus, I'm wondering why little manakete girls with the body and mentality of seven-year-olds are even on a battlefield.

The funny thing about Florina is that she's always turned into a death machine for me. Which I always found hilarious; this petite girl flapping around on a pegasus going 'sumimasen! gomen nasai!' whilst impaling enemies left, right and centre. And landing on Hector to start their romance. :awesome: Actually hyper-competent but can't believe she is or puts up the facade of being hopeless. Which is sort of similar to Nono; who seems to act that way because her appearance allows her to get away with it.

Also remember: ditzy and dumb (but dutiful) girls are vastly preferred to strong, forthright girls in anime settings. The former nearly always prevails in a level playing field for a man's attention. Why? Apparently such is preferred by Japanese popular opinion (at least in general). But westerners tend to view such girls as /rolleyes/ worthy wet rags, because in general we like strong female characters.

This is why Krom can support (and even prefer) Sumia. Whereas 'crushing on him something fierce' Tiamo doesn't even get a chance.

Then again, given Krom's support with FE/MU, one wonders if he also has a faulty dating chromosome. :D:

Nevertheless, I said from the start I'm going with Mariabel for him, and I think that's staying the case at the moment.
