And as this thread does have her supports, what's wrong with people not liking Sumia's characterisation after they see her script? Though, I do hope there's another depth to her instead of being just lolklutz. From what I've seen in the JRPG guy's playthrough, she apologises for /everything/ (even when attacking). She did slap Krom once, though, and although she apologised for that too, I'd like to see what that's about. Firing at Sumia... /lesigh I have a right to dislike Sumia if I dislike what her supports portray about her character. We all have our favorite and disliked characters in FE, for whatever reasons. Personality, pairing reasons, looks, or unit statistics. So far, I dislike Sumia because I dislike what her character description and supports portray her to be like. Still the question remains, if it was possible to get a child with Manakete and Laguz Taguel blood, would they be able to take both forms (gameplaywise yes), take only the more dominant form (like how Leannes and Naesalas children were either Heron or Raven) or would their transformed form be a mixture of both forms? You guys are funny. :3 If I remember correctly from what I read in your posts you also like Sariya because of her personality, not just her looks. So, what's funny about that? Personally, I prefer characters with a nice backstory and character developement more than just good looking ones. I may dislike Sumia, but hate threads are going way too far. Shippers are scary, really scary indeed. Harry Potter shippers, Avatar the Last Airbender shippers ... and maybe FE shippers at select sites. They're usually not too bad here, though. I want to make it clear, though, if Sumia's supports and dialogue showed that there was more to her than some "klutzy, self-doubting, animal-whispering, overly apologetic ditz of a pegasus knight," I wouldn't dislike her. It's just that so far, of the supports I've seen of her, she doesn't really endear herself to me. I don't dislike her for shipping reasons, even if I'd rather pair Olivia, Mariabel, and Soiree with Krom over her. Rather, I dislike Krom and Sumia's supports because I don't like what about her character is revealed in that support. I can go into detail if anyone wants me to. I don't dislike characters for shipping reasons, but rather because of personality (or lack thereof). To keep on topic, I appreciate the work of everyone who's translating these supports. I wish I could help, but I know absolutely no Japanese or Chinese. If anyone knows if Korean scripts of supports are somewhere on the web, I could work on those :P Someone let me know if Loran's supports with Jerome or Chambray go up? If you're familiar with Harry Potter, you should know what I mean. Well, I'd imagine it's less Rufure x Krom and more Whoever-their-favourite-character-is x Krom. And the fact that her archetype has been done countless times. After all, Rufure can be both male and female and I suspect a significant number, quite probably even the majority, will be playing him as a male for the first run through. He/she is meant to be a character for us to project onto after all. But yeah, fandom shipping is a terrifying, terrifying thing. Look at Avatar, Toradora, Harry Potter and any number of other shows.
