To find treasure, have a character stand on the marked positions. Thief, Rogue or Whisper characters have the highest chance of obtaining them. For other characters it might take a couple of tries.
Co-ordinate System
The co-ordinates in this guide starts from left to right and then bottom to top. The most bottom-left tile that can be selected has the co-ordinate (1, 1).
For example, in the above image, the green square has the co-ordinate (3, 2).
