Shop Dialogue

(The Armory)

Armorer:
“Good day. What can I help you with?”
(Buying from Battle Preparations) “Who might this purchase be for?”
(Selling from Battle Preparations) “Who will be doing the selling?”
(When forging) “Very well. Whose weapon needs forging?”
(When buying) “Here, have a look at our wares.”
(When no weapons are left to buy) “Apologies, friend. I’ve no stock left to sell you.”
(Not enough gold to buy) “You seem to be short of funds.”
(Picking an item to buy) “That’ll run you (insert amount here) gold. Do we have a deal?”
[If you select Yes] “Thank you kindly. Can I interest you in anything else?”
[If you select No] “Perhaps something else, then?”
(Buying a weapon that the character cannot equip) “You won’t be able to equip this. Is that all right?”
(Character and convoy are full) “You can’t carry any more.”
(Character is full, but convoy isn’t) “I’ll send this to your convoy, then.”
(When selling) “What do you have to offer?”
(Selling an item that can’t be sold) “Sorry, but I can’t take that off your hands.”
(Nothing to sell) “Sadly, friend, it seems you’ve naught to offer me.”
(Picking an item to sell) “I can give you (insert amount here) gold for that. What do you say?”
[If you select Yes and have more to sell] “Thank you kindly. Did you have anything else for me?”
[If you select Yes and have no more to sell] “Thank you kindly.”
[If you select No] “Anything else you’re selling, then?”
(When forging) “What should I take to the forge?”
(Nothing that can be forged) “Sadly, friend, it seems you’ve naught for me to forge.”
(Weapon cannot be forged) “Sorry. I can’t forge that.”
(Picking a weapon to forge) “How would you like its properties modified?”
(After configuring stats) “That’ll run you (insert amount here) gold. Shall I go ahead and forge this?”
[If you select Yes] “I can inscribe a name, if you like.”
(Finished forging) “There we are. Can I help you with something else?”
(Forging option is greyed out) “I can’t forge anything else here. My apologies.”
(Leaving) “Come again.”

(The Vendor)

Vendor:
“Hello. Welcome to Aimee’s. How can I help you?”
(When buying) “Certainly. Have a look around.”
(Selling an item that can’t be sold) “I can’t take that from you. I’m sorry.”
(When no items are left to buy) “Oh, dear… I’ve nothing else to sell you. Sorry.”
(Not enough gold to buy) “You don’t seem to have enough gold.”
(Picking an item to buy) “That’ll be (insert amount here) gold. Sound fair?”
[If you select Yes and there’s more to buy] “Lovely. Anything else?”
[If you select Yes and there’s no more to buy] “Thank you.”
[If you select No] “Well, how about something else?”
(Character and convoy are full) “You can’t carry any more.”
(Character is full, but convoy isn’t) “I’ll go ahead and send this to your convoy.”
(Buying a weapon that the character cannot equip) “You won’t be able to equip this. Is that all right?”
(When selling) “What are you offering for sale?”
(Nothing to sell) “Unfortunately, it looks as though you’ve nothing to offer me.”
(Picking an item to sell) “I’ll pay (insert amount here) gold for that. Sound fair?”
[If you select Yes and have more to sell] “Lovely. Do you have anything else?”
[If you select Yes and have no more to sell] “Thank you.”
[If you select No] “Do you have anything else you’re selling?”
(Leaving) “Visit us again soon.”

(The Secret Shop)

Shopkeeper (Anna):
“Why, hello! …Um, how did you find this place? What’ll it be today?”
(When buying) “Sure. Feast your eyes on these finds!”
(When no items are left to buy) “Whoops! Looks like I’m fresh out of everything. Sorry.”
(Not enough gold to buy) “No money, no sale.”
(Picking an item to buy) “That goes for (insert amount here) gold. How ’bout it?”
[If you select Yes and there’s more to buy] “Thanks. See anything else you like?”
[If you select Yes and there’s no more to buy] “Thanks.”
[If you select No] “Well, there’s plenty more where that came from!”
(Character and convoy are full) “You can’t carry any more.”
(Character is full, but convoy isn’t) “Great, I’ll have this sent to your convoy.”
(Buying a weapon that the character cannot equip) “You won’t be able to equip this. Is that all right?”
(When selling) “What have you got for sale?”
(Selling an item that can’t be sold) “Sorry, not interested.”
(Nothing to sell) “I can’t help you if you don’t have anything to sell.”
(Picking an item to sell) “I could pay (insert amount here) gold for that. How ’bout it?”
[If you select Yes and have more to sell] “Thanks. Anything else you’re selling?”
[If you select Yes and have no more to sell] “Thanks.”
[If you select No] “Anything else you’re selling?”
(Leaving) “Until next time!”

(The Arena)

Fightmonger:
“Well, well. This ‘ere’s an arena. You ‘ere for a fight, mate? The wager’s (insert amount here) “gold. Reckon you’re up to the challenge?””
[If you choose Yes] “Rules is easy: keep tradin’ blows till one of ya drops, or press the B Button to yield. Don’t get yerself killed, huh?”
(Not enough gold to wager) “What, no gold? Then it’s time you strolled.”
[If you choose No] “If you ain’t payin’, you ain’t stayin’. Beat it.”
(Winning the battle) “Nice fightin’, mate. ‘Ere’s yer reward: (insert amount here) gold.”
(Losing the battle) “Agh, another ‘un bites the dust… No profit in death, eh?”
(Battle is a draw) “Looks like nobody wins. But everybody lives, and ain’t that what counts?”
(Quitting the battle midway) “What, givin’ up already? Guess I’ll be pocketin’ yer wager.”
(If you won the previous battle) “Feel like goin’ another round?”
(Leaving) “So long, then.”
