A new update is on its way to Fire Emblem Heroes! Check out the Version 2.5 Update Notification when you next log into the game.
The Version 2.5 Update will bring a lot of things to Heroes, some expected and some brand new. We’ll be getting some more Weapon Refinery options, and also some UI enhancements. One such enhancement is something many players have wanted for a while: an option to turn off Enemy Phase music!
Many of the unexpected changes fall into two categories: major Arena changes and an overhaul of the starting game Tutorial. Due to the Tutorial changes, all existing players will also receive a gift package.
Scroll on below for a deeper look at what the upcoming Version 2.5 changes will entail.
There will be a Maintenance Period starting on 8 May at 11:00pm UTC.. The update will go live as soon as the maintenance is over on 8~9 May. Additionally, because of the detailed Arena changes, the Arena will be closed all day on Tuesday and the next season will begin on Wednesday instead. This also applies to Arena Assault.
Additionally, the special Golden Week edition of Grand Conquests starts today! Make sure to read up on the changes from last event, such as the Rank Cap increase, and jump in when you’re ready. You can also already see the Grand Conquest Quests in the Quests and Missions page, including 3★ and 4★ Kaze: Easygoing Ninja.
Grand Conquests officially begins in a couple hours at 10:00am UTC. It will last for about a week, ending on 8 May.
Another new series of quests has arrived in Fire Emblem Heroes! As you’ve probably expected, these Arena Quests reward you for playing the arena. They are very similar in nature to older Arena quests from earlier this year.
Win multiple battles in the Arena and consecutive battles in Arena Assault to win a variety of prizes, including Orbs and Refining Stones! Once you’ve completed one stage of the quests, the next stage will unlock. Check out the quest listings below.
Additionally, the next chapter of the Heroes manga is out! Here’s the Japanese original, along with a fan-translation by SF members Coolmanio and Linkmstr.
Finally, @FE_Heroes_JP just tweeted out an apology regarding some incorrect skill descriptions forged with the new Weapon Refinery. They will be working on fixing the descriptions. As compensation, players will be receiving 5 Orbs, 50 Refining Stones, and 500 Arena Medals in the near future.
The War of the Clerics Voting Gauntlet starts today in Fire Emblem Heroes! Elise, Sakura, Maria, Lachesis, Lissa, Mist, Clarine and Priscilla are ready to fight head to head for fame and glory. Check out our earlier article for a break down of the event and its associated Summoning Focus banners.
As usual, you can complete a number of quests to earn additional Battle Flags to turn the gauntlet in your side’s favour. These quests have changed slightly from previous gauntlets and no longer require using Alfonse and Sharena. You can see a full listing of the new quests at the bottom of this post.
The official Fire Emblem Heroes website has also updated to include a page about the Voting Gauntlets. Most interestingly, the page contains a section where you can see the total votes for each character, updated every hour. You can check it out here, or within the app itself via a button on the Notifications page.
The first round lasts for a bit less than two days, ending on 29 June at 3:59am UTC. The entire Voting Gauntlet and its focus banners will come to a close next week on 3 July. Do your best to support your favourite little sister cleric and win the day!
Additionally, with the start of the next Arena season, the weekly Arena quests have now reset. Earn yourself some additional Stamina Potions, Dueling Crests, and of course precious Orbs by competing in many Arena battles! There will be one more quest reset next Monday, 3 July.
After a notable absence, a new set of Arena Quests have been added to Fire Emblem Heroes starting from today.
For 3 weeks (ending 11th July 2017), players can challenge weekly quests that award Dueling Swords, Stamina Potions and Orbs for clearing the Arena.
Sadly there are no Hero Feathers up for grabs this time, but there have been other ways to get them lately, such as via the Tempest Trials.
Additionally, as promised, all players have been gifted 5 Orbs as an apology for a mishap with the Legion Grand Hero Battle. Be sure to pick them up from the Present List before 4th July 2017 is over!
Update: Quest details can be found below.
