Heroes: Details for Version 5.10.0, Arriving 5~6th October

We have another monthly update for Fire Emblem Heroes coming soon. Version 5.10.0 is scheduled for release on 5th or 6th October 2021, depending on your timezone.

Of note, there are various improvements to the Heroes Journey mode, whose second event recently ended.

Heroes Journey

A new “Available Memento Events” button will be added. It’ll allow players to choose and view any Memento Event by consuming a new item called Memory Fragments, but only up to 3 times.

Memory Fragments can be obtained after getting a repeat Memento Event when spending Memento Points. The number of fragments given will be the same as the Rapport of the repeat event (so 4 fragments for a 4 Rapport event).

20 Memory Fragments are required to choose a Memento Event. Up to 60 fragments can be earned per Heroes Journey event. When the event ends, all unspent fragments will disappear.

When choosing a Memento Event using fragments, it’s possible to select from all types and Rapport. You may even choose Memento Events from previous seasons. Events unlocked using fragments will be recorded in the Memento Logs like usual.

Additionally, when the Heroes Journey event is not active, you can review your Memento Logs and successful pairs.

Furthermore, new Memento Events will be added. From the screenshot shown (further up), they will be from “Archive of the East.”

Finally, there will be a Home Screen notification for Heroes Journey when it’s on-going (which you can disable). Plus the “Memento Event” button will be easier to recognise.

Heroes: Details for Version 5.9.0, Arriving 5~6th September

The Fire Emblem Heroes team has shared information for the upcoming Version 5.9.0 update scheduled for 5th/6th September 2021.

New Legendary Skills

The Legendary versions of Ephraim and Hector will receive new skills to coincide with the next Legendary Remix banner.

Ephraim: Legendary Lord

A: Atk/Def Solo 4
B: Solar Brace II – Enables [Canto (2)].
Neutralizes unit’s penalties that inflict “Special cooldown charge -X” on unit during combat. Restores 10 HP to unit after combat.
[Canto (2)]
This skill can only be equipped by its original unit.

Hector: Marquess of Ostia

B: Crafty Fighter 3
C: Ostia’s Pulse II – At start of turn, grants Def/Res+6 to unit and allies for one turn, and also, if any unit or ally’s Special cooldown count is at its maximum value, grants them Special cooldown count -1. All effects granted only if the number of that unit or ally’s movement type on the current team is <= 2.
This skill can only be equipped by its original unit.

Besides these two, the follow Legendary Heroes will appear in future remixes with new skills:

  • Hríd: Icy Blade
  • Marth: Hero-King
  • Eirika: Graceful Resolve
  • Tiki: Legendary Dragon
  • Lucina: Glorious Archer
  • Azura: Vallite Songstress

Weapon Refinery

Eight more Heroes, including the Year 3 Brave Heroes, will receive new weapon skills/refines.

  • Flame Siegmund – Legendary Ephraim and base Ephraim

Heroes: Version 5.8.0 Details (Turn 1 Safety Fence for Aether Raids)

Today, we have more details for Version 5.8.0 of Fire Emblem Heroes, which is scheduled for 3rd~4th August 2021.

Feh Pass Loyalty Perks

As outlined earlier, Feh Pass subscribers will receive a few additional benefits for maintaining a subscription over multiple months–namely more Summoner Support slots and free Trait Fruits and Dragonflowers.

Aether Raids

A new Safety Fence (O) structure will be added.

Until Turn X (where X is the structure’s Level), after the defensive team’s skills activate at the start of their turn, if the entire raiding party is outside the defensive team’s attack range or the entire raiding party is within 2 rows and 7 columns centred on the structure, the defensive team will immediately end its turn.

In Version 5.8.0, the max Level for the Safety Fence (O) is 1. It can be constructed using 500 Heavenly Dew.

Hopefully this should relieve some of the troublesome Turn 1 strategies used, such as the ones that rely on the 7th slot being danced.

Also, the following structures can be raised to Level 9:

  • Infantry School (O and D)
  • Armor School (O and D)
  • Flier School (O and D)
  • Cavalry School (O and D)

Furthermore, these songs can be purchased from the Aether Resort Concert Hall:

  • “Preparations: Pilgrimage” (Shadows of Valentia game)
  • “Battle: Destiny” (Thracia 776)

Heroes: Info for Version 5.7.0, Arriving 5~6th July

Wow, we’re already halfway through 2021. Anyway, we have some new details for the upcoming July version update for Fire Emblem Heroes. You can read all about it via the official website, plus we’ll go over everything right here.

Team Skill Lock

A new button will be added in the team selection screen that allows you to lock the equipped skills and Sacred Seals for all the Heroes in a particular team.

It can be used via:

  • Edit Team (also available in multi-map battles)
  • Edit Reserve Team(also available in multi-map battles)
  • Edit Brigades (only for your own Heroes, not your friends’)
  • Form Raiding Party (Aether Raids)

After locking a team in this manner, it won’t be possible to switch in or out Heroes from that team.

Since the lock only applies to skills, you can still change the Hero’s blessing or traits, etc. Also, if you get rid of a Hero or send them to a Reserve barracks, they will disappear from the team.

New Legendary Skills

Legendary Lyn and Robin will be receiving some new skills to make them more competitive.

Lyn: Lady of the Wind

A: Laws of Sacae II – If unit initiates combat or if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+6 during combat, and also, if foe uses sword, lance, axe, dragonstone, or beast damage and unit’s Spd >= foe’s Spd +5, foe cannot counterattack. This skill can only be equipped by its original unit.
C: Joint Drive Spd

Robin: Fell Vessel

A: Dragonskin II – Neutralizes “effective against flying” bonuses. If foe initiates combat or if foe’s HP >= 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res +6 to unit during combat and neutralizes foe’s bonuses (from skills like Fortify, Rally, etc.). This skill can only be equipped by its original unit.
