Heroes: Tempest Trials: Resonating Fangs is Live!

The next Tempest Trials have arrived in Fire Emblem Heroes!

Tempest Trials: Resonating Fangs is based around the newest game, Fire Emblem Echoes. Choose your strongest heroes to beat a series of Echoes-inspired maps and claim new rewards, including 4★ and 5★ versions of Tobin, and two new Sacred Seals: Resistance +1 and Phantom Spd 1.

The final map in each Trial is a new map also from Echoes and features Celica as the recurring boss.

In addition to the point-based rewards, there are also daily quests for the event. Complete Trials every day to earn yourself Stamina Potions, Universal Crystals, and Hero Feathers. You can find a full breakdown of the quests below.

Tempest Trials: Resonating Fangs will be around for two weeks until 21 July at 6:59am UTC. The Tempest Trials banner will also end at that time.

Heroes: Version 1.5.0 is Now Live!

The latest version of Fire Emblem Heroes is now available for all players! All players will see a prompt to download the update as soon as they load up the game.

Most notably, the new update introduces two new gameplay modes: Chain Challenge and Squad Assault. You can access both new modes in the Story Mode section of the Battle area.

Chain Challenges play very similarly to Tempest Trials maps. Players challenge all of the maps of one or two Story Mode chapters in a row. If all of your heroes are KOed, you can try again with a new team of your choice. Normal and Hard mode Chain Challenge award Hero Feathers while the Lunatic versions award precious Orbs.

Squad Assault also includes multiple maps in a row, though the challenge is much greater. Each map in the Squad Assault must be beaten by a new team, not using any previously used units in the assault, and all units must survive. If you’re successful, you earn additional Orbs and a new Sacred Seal, Squad Ace A 1, which provides HP +3.

The update also includes a number of quality of life changes. You can see a full analysis of all updates in our earlier article here. Best of luck with the difficult challenges you’ll soon face!

Heroes: Upcoming Tempest Trials Event Features Permadeath & Masked Lucina

An exciting new event is coming to Fire Emblem Heroes! It’s called Tempest Trials, and it’s unlike any other event that Heroes has held to date.

Each Tempest Trial consists of series of maps at varying difficulties. Complete these Trials to score points and earn rewards based on the number of points you score. One of the available rewards is the 5★ Masked Lucina that was shown during the FE Channel Livestream back in April.

In addition to the rewards given by the event itself, Heroes is also hosting a Tempest Trials Kick-Off Campaign. The campaign will reward all Heroes players based on the total number of points scored by everyone during the first five days of the event. If we reach 1 billion points by 13 June, everyone will receive 10 Orbs and 5,000 Hero Feathers!

Tempest Trials will begin on Thursday, 8 June at 7:00am UTC and last for two weeks. Read on below for a further breakdown of what we know of the event so far.

Heroes: New Quests and Rewards / Echoes: Official Screenshots

Earlier, Fire Emblem Heroes added a bunch of quests and perks for beginners; on the other side of the spectrum, a set of difficult “Lunatic Challenge” quests have just been added!

These quests last until 7th April at 7.59 AM UTC and provide expert players with a generous 20 Orbs after full completion. While they’re tough for beginners, the quests actually aren’t too hard, especially compared to the later Training Tower quests.

Players who aren’t ready for the Lunatic Challenge don’t need to feel too left out since all players have been gifted with a Log-in Bonus of 10 Orbs, 10 Stamina Potions and 5,000 Hero Feathers for smashing the early Michalis map milestones.

Besides Heroes, we’ve got some new official screenshots of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia, which releases in Japan in a month’s time and in North America, Europe, etc. in two month’s time.
