The time has come: Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is officially out in North America and Europe!
We hope you’re enjoying the game if you have it! Otherwise, if your copy has yet to arrive (or if you’re still waiting for the Australian launch tomorrow), we hope the wait isn’t long!
By the way, if you need any help with the game, do feel free to peruse our Echoes game section (which is being rapidly updated to reflect the Western release) or ask on our forums!
Finally, it goes without saying, but if you like Echoes, don’t forget to recommend it to your fellow RPG or gaming fans. Although the Fire Emblem series is bigger than it used to be, it still need our help to continue growing!
Hopefully if Echoes performs well, we may start seeing more remakes of its calibre further down the line.
3 months after its initial unveiling, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is now officially out in Japan!
Those with a Japanese region 3DS and who pre-purchased the game earlier from the eShop can now unlock and play the game from the Home menu.
Otherwise if you want the physical version, you’ll probably have to wait until shops open in the morning. (Or if you pre-ordered it, wait until it’s delivered.)
In any case, if you’re looking for help or information, be sure to check out our dedicated game section or, if you have any burning questions, you’re more than welcome to visit our forums!
Meanwhile, there’s still one more month before Echoes arrives in the West, although thankfully it’s a much shorter wait compared to earlier entries. Also, don’t forget there are Echoes-related events going on in Fire Emblem Heroes to bide the time.
Furthermore, 20th April marks the 27th anniversary of the Fire Emblem series in Japan. Here’s to a bright future for this much-loved series!
