Scale figure of Fire Emblem’s Lyn revealed at WonHobby Gallery!

A new scale figure is coming, and this time it’s Lyn.

Hobby product manufacturer Good Smile Company is holding their Wonderful Hobby Gallery Autumn 2020 exhibit this weekend from October 17th to October 18th both virtually and at the Akiba CO Gallery in Akihabara, Japan, and there’s been exciting news for fans of Fire Emblem: Lyn from The Blazing Blade is in the works as a 1/7 scale figure!

Another look at Lyn’s figure, shared by AmiAmi Hobby News on Twitter.
The bottom-right text means that its design is still pending the licensor’s final approval.

This sculpted figure serves as a scale model of the original character, standing at a 1:7 size ratio in height. Currently, the estimated price and release date are yet to be determined, but we expect updates on that to be eventually shared by its planner/developer, Intelligent Systems. How long that’ll take to happen is anyone’s guess!

Heroes: Revival Banner #5 Up and Next Summer Banner Revealed, Drops July 9

The second summer surprise trailer dropped on us, just an hour before the end of the Headbands [Guys] vs Headbands [Gals] voting gauntlet ended. Mia won, and while that may not be have surprised some people, the people in the upcoming Summer Refreshes banner may surprise many.

Japanese trailer available here.

Yes, the second Summer Banner features units from Elibe, but they don’t all seem to be who fans expected them to be. Among the batch, includes Fire Emblem Binding Blade’s Wolt and Lilina, and Fire Emblem Blazing Sword’s Lyn and Ursula. We already have a Grand Hero Ursula available, so an alt of her is quite a surprise, while Wolt joins the likes of Charlotte and Noire in the Alt-sclusives Only pool.

Among the new skills featured in the upcoming banner, we have a handful of new inheritables, such as the inevitable Sabotage Def 3 (Lilina), as well as the upgrade Brazen Atk/Spd 4 (Wolt), and the brand new line of skills with the Ruse name, Def/Res Ruse 3 (Ursula). Among the already available skills, Arena lovers will enjoy another unit carrying the Rally Up Res+ skill (Lilina) , as well as Sturdy Impact making its return on a unit other than Tibarn (Lyn).

One interesting post is that in both the Japanese and English trailers, Wolt’s bow lists 14 Mt and 1 Rng, which is atypical of inheritable bows, nonetheless bows in general (The only inheritable bow with more than 12 Mt is the Silver Bow, running 13 Mt). No update on it has been announced yet, but I have a feeling that a correction will come with the banner’s official drop.

UPDATE: Wolt’s Big-Catch Bow+ is confirmed to only have 12 Mt and is a Range 2 weapon, as expected.

To add more excitement, the next upcoming free unit, as a Tempest Trials+ reward unit, is Fire Emblem Blazing Sword’s very own Fiora, Defrosted Ilian, a Red Sword Flier.

This banner will run from July 9 until August 9. If you’re excited for this batch of units, keep your excitement going, as we’re also due to receive a Three Houses themed banner soon, with the release of the game. Orb management might be hard, but I believe in you, Summoners!

Finally, the fifthRevival Banner is up, featuring Mist: Helpful Sister, Ike: Young Mercenary and Ike: Brave Mercenary . Remember, that these Revival banners have a 4% focus rate on the featured heroes for a 5* summon.

Heroes Opinion: When Too Many Lyns is a Bad Thing…

Recently, a new wave of disdain has hit Fire Emblem Heroes, thanks to the introduction of a Legendary variant of Lyn. Although it’s not quite as severe as the incident with Ayra last year, I still believe it’s worth looking into.

The culprit this time is a certain noblewoman from Sacae.

Firstly, I’ll just briefly outline the facts, especially for those unfamiliar with Heroes.

On 27th April, a few days ago, Nintendo/Intelligent Systems revealed the latest Legendary character as usual. Near the end of each month, there is a Legendary summoning event featuring one new Legendary Hero and 11 existing rare/powerful Heroes.

The very first two Legendary Heroes were original characters, but recent Legendary Heroes are basically “ultimate” versions of existing characters, although they aren’t necessarily the strongest units in the game. For some people, they are nothing more than additional variants.

Reactions to Legendary Lyn have been divided to say the least.

This month’s new Legendary Hero is Lyn: Lady of the Wind, with a new Green Bow weapon type. As soon as Legendary Lyn was revealed, a large part of the community was in a uproar.

At the time of writing, the English reveal trailer has a 2:1 like/dislike ratio, while the Japanese trailer has a 1:1 ratio (although this may be partially due to online campaigning). Previous trailers have a typical 10:1 ratio (which makes sense as you can’t please everyone).

For reference, poor Ayra never received a trailer, so it’s impossible to directly compare the two situations. However, my gut feeling is that the situation was far more grave in the past.

Warriors: Lyn from FE7 Confirmed, Caeda and Navarre leaked via NOE

On the Nintendo Direct today, N3DS footage was shown, but more importantly, Lyn or Lyndis from Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword will be playable in Fire Emblem Warriors.

Lyn isn’t a stranger to spinoffs as she’s been an assist trophy in Smash Bros. before, and is certainly a popular character, as she did win the Choose your Own Legends poll on the female side.

Edit:

Meanwhile in Europe Caeda has been spotted in their trailer.

As well as Navarre.

It’s timestamped to their appearance.

Lyn’s sprite on the Japanese Warriors website also matches the one on the “box leak”.

The game launches on October 20th in North America and Europe. Keep your eyes open for any more leaks and information.
