Heroes: Special Heroes (Unlikely Friends) brings a Tiny Tellius team to the fray on April 7

It’s high time for our next low-in-age units to join the brigade, and this time, we’re graced with a slew of Tellius inspired units, all of which have connections to each other via the Greil Mercenaries. This, and just a bit more, come in the Unlikely Friends Special Heroes banner!

For the Japanese trailer, click here.

This banner features a few interesting inheritable skills, including the next Distant Counter but with a stat boost skill, Distant Dart (boosting Speed). There is also the new -Tempo skill line, which is similar to Special Fighter 3, that protects a unit from Special Cooldown altering abilities, and also grants a stat advantage. The Spd/Def Tempo 3 appears on an Infantry unit this time around, so I wonder what unit movement types will be allowed to use this skill. Speaking of skills, we have another rare Colorless Tome with Soren.

Additionally, Boyd: Future Great, makes his debut in Heroes, and much to no one’s surprise, is a green axe infantry. He is a free unit, earnable in the upcoming Tempest Trials+ event as reward unit.

Finally, Ilyana: Awakened Appetite, will be available in the 4* Focus pool.

Special Heroes (Unlikely Friends) will run from April 7 until May 6.

Heroes: “Summer Passing” Features Magvel + Tellius Heroes & First “Twin World” Hero!

We’re not sure if the Fire Emblem Heroes team released the next Summer trailer 12 hours too early, but here it is!

Update: The trailer was indeed posted too early–it’s since been removed and Feh has apologised about it.

Update 2: Here’s the trailer for real!

The Special Heroes clad in swimwear include Selena, Joshua and Lute from The Sacred Stones. Meanwhile, the fourth Hero (or pair of Heroes rather), Mia and Masked Marth is a new type of Duo Hero.

Right now, we’re unsure what their official designation is–maybe “Harmonized Hero” or “Harmonic Hero”, judging from their skill name? Internally, their icon is labelled as “Twin World”, presumably referring to them coming from different worlds (Tellius and Ylisse).

Anyway, “Summer Passing” will arrive on 18th June 2020 (UTC). In this summoning event, Lute will also be a part of the 4-star focus category. Also, Summoners can snag Mia’s partner, Rhys: Gentle Basker, in the upcoming Tempest Trials+ event.

Heroes: The Land’s Bounty Banner Brings Halloween Heroes

If you had a hard time figuring out who the teased Heroes were in the Halloween teaser from the other day, you’re not alone. Fortunately, we didn’t have to wait too long to find out who will be joining us though, as the trailer for Special Heroes (The Land’s Bounty) has been posted, and we’re getting quite an interesting batch of heroes, including a few units with new movement/weapon type combinations. What’s more, is that we’re receiving a Tempest Trials+ reward unit that fits in the theme of the season.

The four summonable Heroes coming in The Land’s Bounty include a seasonal variant of Kagero, Mia, Myrrh and Niles, and the “free” reward unit coming into the fray is Dorcas. Of course, this pile of Heroes comes with a Paralogue series (for those juicy orb rewards), and we’ll have plenty of time to try to score the gang, as it runs from October 10 until November 8. Good luck, Summoners!
