I’ve done recorded videos, showing off the Shadow Dragon characters. While Navarre and Minerva share movesets with Lyn and Camilla respectively, they do have unique specials, animations, and of course voiced lines and statlines.
For starters, Linde is very much her own beast, serving as a bit of a faster mage than Robin with huge Magic & Luck. Luck has been established as one of if not the best stats in the entire game thanks to the skills of Luna and Lethality. (I’ve even shown the effectiveness of this) Linde also has huge range and relentless attacks that don’t leave her nearly as open to attack as Robin can in some of his.
On the Nintendo Direct today, N3DS footage was shown, but more importantly, Lyn or Lyndis from Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword will be playable in Fire Emblem Warriors.
Lyn isn’t a stranger to spinoffs as she’s been an assist trophy in Smash Bros. before, and is certainly a popular character, as she did win the Choose your Own Legends poll on the female side.
Meanwhile in Europe Caeda has been spotted in their trailer.
As well as Navarre.
It’s timestamped to their appearance.
Lyn’s sprite on the Japanese Warriors website also matches the one on the “box leak”.
The game launches on October 20th in North America and Europe. Keep your eyes open for any more leaks and information.
Summoners can now challenge the Scarlet Sword at his own game, by entering Navarre’s Special Map any time between now and April 9.
His map expires on April 9 at 1:59a EDT, so you have time to train up your team if you need. If you need a new unit to help your cause, the Battling Navarre Banner is also available for the duration of the Grand Hero Battle.
That’s not all, however. The Wyvern Riders vs Pegasus Knights Voting Gauntlet starts in about 15 hours, and the first round brackets have already been posted by the FE_Heroes_JP Twitter. The Round 1 Matchups are:
Subaki vs Beruka
Palla vs Minerva
Cordelia vs Cherche
Hinoka vs Camilla
While the ladder itself hasn’t been posted (meaning Round 2 Matchups are not quite confirmed due to layout variances), this implies a bit of a difference from the last round, in which each side fought amongst itself for the top representative of its side.
It’s been no surprise that Fire Emblem Heroes has been a hit, but Nintendo hasn’t slowed down in giving players any updates. There’s a few things coming up, some which you may know of and some which you may not.
For starters, you may have already notice the currently active Banners joining the Spring Festival, Wyvern Riders (Camilla, Beruka, Cherche and Minerva) and Pegasus Knights (Hinoka, Cordelia, Palla and Subaki).
These Banners exist to promote the next upcoming Voting Gauntlet event, Wyvern Riders vs. Pegasus Knights, running from April 5th until April 10th.
With all of these Banners coming out, it’s a shame that the two free daily Orb reward is no longer active, but hopefully something else will come out that will let us bolster our Hero roster, maybe like…
The next Grand Hero Battle! Navarre is arriving on April 4th, and with him comes a banner tailored to defeating him and his allies, aptly titled Battling Navarre (including Effie, Sophia, Caeda and Kagero).
