Fates: Nendoroid Sakura Available to Pre-order

Good news for Sakura fans! The nendoroid figure of the youngest Hoshidan princess is now available to pre-order from most big Japanese hobby stores–or even directly from Good Smile Company themselves.

First announced way back during Winter WonFes 2017, Sakura is the latest Fire Emblem character to receive the nendoroid treatment–previous characters include Marth, Caeda, Elise and female Corrin.

A detailed review of the Sakura nendoroid can be found at Kahoton’s blog. The figure comes with a stand, three interchangeable face plates (normal, shouting and embarrassed), a staff with an optional healing effect and a dumpling rod.

The figure is priced at 4,800 Yen (with tax included) and is expected to ship from May 2018. Pre-orders close on 9th November 2017, so prospecting buyers have roughly a month to secure this adorable little sister.

Warriors: Hong Kong Pre-order Bonus

Nintendo Hong Kong announced that local pre-orders of Fire Emblem Warriors will come with a limited edition Fire Emblem Warriors-themed carry case.

The case, presumably designed for the Nintendo Switch, features the 6 characters from the box art on the front and the Chinese Fire Emblem Warriors logo on the back. Note that the final design may vary.

A full list of participating retailers offering this pre-order bonus can be found on this page. As usual, supplies are limited and given out on a first come, first serve basis. (If in doubt, be sure to ask the retailer.)

In any case, Warriors will release in Hong Kong on the same day as in Japan: 28th September 2017. As we reported earlier in the year, the game will be the second Fire Emblem title (after Echoes) to receive an official Chinese translation.

Echoes: Limited Edition Unboxing + Pre-order Bonuses

Less than two weeks remain until Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia launches in the West. Just in case you missed it, here’s a recap of some merchandise-related news that’s been floating about lately.

In the latest Nintendo Minute video, hosts Kit and Krysta do the honours of unboxing the North American Limited Edition. Interesting if you can’t wait to see the contents of your own; a bit melancholic if you wanted one, but they all sold out.

We didn’t want to spoil the surprise too much, so we skipped ahead to see if there was an answer to the big question some fans have been wondering about–indeed, the reversible cover features the original cover artwork from Fire Emblem Gaiden!

Moving on, for those of you in North America or Canada, Gamestop and EB Games are giving away a spectacular-looking “Warring Gods” chrome print if you purchase the standard edition and any DLC pack.

Echoes: Japanese Pre-orders for Valentia Complete Now Open

Those of you in Japan (or who have a contact living there etc.) can now pre-order the Valentia Complete edition of Fire Emblem Echoes, which is sold exclusively from the official My Nintendo Store.

As we reported earlier, pre-orders were originally meant to start from 27th January 2017, but were later delayed due to overwhelming activity during the launch of the My Nintendo Store.

To make amends, Nintendo has promised that everyone who pre-orders the Valentia Complete between now and 16th February 2017 at 13:00 (Japan time) is guaranteed to receive a copy.

However, while Nintendo has prepared a lot of stock, should the initial stock run out, buyers may have to wait until after the game’s 20th April 2017 release to receive their Valentia Complete. But better late than never, right?

Anyway, below you can find details of the Valentia Complete and the other editions available from the store.
