Heroes: Julia is September’s 2nd Resplendent Hero & More “New Heroes” Revivals!

Following the release of Resplendent Alm today, we have details of the next Resplendent Hero, arriving on 25th September 2020 (UTC).

This version of Julia: Naga’s Blood is based on the attire worn by those from the frozen Kingdom of Nifl. For more details, check out her page on the official Feh Pass mini-site.

In other news, Feh is once again asking for Summoners to choose the next “New Heroes” revival banner and Forging Bonds event for November.

The available choices are:

  • Changing Winds: Hilda, Hubert, Petra and Mercedes
  • Peony and More: I wonder who? Peony, Mareeta, Eyvel and Osian
  • The Dread Isle: Leila, Nils, Rath and Fiora
  • Harmony amid Chaos: Annette, Ferdinand, Lysithea and Bernadetta

The previous winner was Heir of Light, featuring powerful Heroes from the 2nd half of Genealogy of the Holy War.

As such, the corresponding banner and Forging Bonds will be here until 18th September (UTC). If you haven’t already, now’s your chance to get to know Ced, Larcei, Shannan and Altena!

Heroes: Mythic banner and Mythic Hero Battle are live!

It’s the end of another month, which means it’s time for a new Mythic or Legendary Hero to be available in Heroes.

This month, Thrasir: Omnicidal Witch is available as part of this Mythic banner! You will know of her already if you’re following the events of Book III.

As usual, there is also a Mythic Hero Battle to challenge which will reward you with up to 9 Orbs for completion, and a golden accessory if you manage to defeat the Abyssal difficulty.

If you want to read more about the banner like who else is available to summon, you can read our previous news post regarding it here. The Mythic banner and MHB are available from today and will come to a close on the 8th of October, 6:59am UTC.

In other news, yesterday was the weekly banner revival switch-out.

If any of these three Heroes tickle your pickle, now’s your chance to go all in. OG Elincia, OG Innes, and OG Tana are all available for a week until the next revival banner.

Heroes: Tibarn and Caineghis BHB, Weekly Revival Banner 15 & Lost Lore in Elibe

There are a few things happening in Fire Emblem Heroes this weekend. Firstly, you can challenge Tibarn and Caineghis in a new Bound Hero Battle until the daily rollover on 23rd September 2019.

These Laguz Kings from the Tellius duology are each formidable foes by themselves, so fighting both together could get pretty rough. If you like what you see, you can try to summon Tibarn and Caineghis, as well as Reyson who came for the ride, in a summoning banner that lasts for the same time.

Speaking of summoning, the 15th weekly revival summoning banner is now up. This one features Deirdre and Eldigan from Genealogy of the Holy War plus Azura from Fates. If you’re a fan of those characters, now’s a good chance since the base 5-star focus rate is 4%.

Last but not least, the 2nd Lost Lore event, “One of True Sight”, started yesterday and will continue until the rollover on 5th October 2019. This one seems to cover the history of Binding Blade and encourages summoners to deploy Heroes from that game and its prequel, Blazing Blade.

I’ve only played a bit of the event, but it’s interesting to see two of the cities in the Western Isles receiving localised names for the first time: Juteaux (Jutes) and Eidyna (Edina). Maybe there’s more in the history book itself? (I haven’t checked the data-mines yet.)

Heroes: Múspell Grand Conquests, Weekly Revival 14 & Performing Arts Re-run

We have a fairly eventful Sunday in Fire Emblem Heroes, as a new Grand Conquests event kicks off. Having conquered all the currently known continents, our attention moves towards the realm of Múspell, which we visited back in Book II.

The three armies are all led by Múspell’s finest generals: sisters Laevatein and Laegjarn and rough but kind Helbindi. Presumably Surtr is watching menacingly from afar.

Curiously, the map is exactly as the same as the southern half of the World not continent of Zenith (where Embla is apparently located). However, the notification and Twitter accounts emphasise that this is indeed the kingdom of flames.

If so, are Nifl and Múspell an(other) alternate version of Askr and Embla? Your guess is as good as mine.

In other news, the 14th weekly summoning revival is up. This one features Linde, Saber and Sonya–all fairly strong Heroes with powerful weapon refines. Also, the Performing Arts re-run started yesterday. For a month, you can try to summon special dancer versions of Inigo, Olivia, Azura and Shigure from 2017.
