Heroes: Grand Conquests – Branch of Fate

Starting today, a new Grand Conquests in underway in Fire Emblem Heroes. This time, the battlefield is spread across the realms of Hoshido and Nohr, from Fates. Yes, we still don’t know what the continent’s name is…

Summoners will team up with Ryoma, Xander or Corrin, who are locked in a three-way battle similar to the pivotal moment in Fates. Although on this occasion, you won’t have the choice of which army to fight for, as the RNG will decide for you instead.

Like previous Grand Conquests, the event is divided into 3 rounds, each lasting around 2 days each (starting 4 hours after the next daily rollover). Each round, there will be quests where you can earn 1 Orb and more Conquest Lances to keep fighting.

From here, I don’t think there are many continents that remain untouched by war. Perhaps they’ll cycle through past continents, although we’ll probably end up fighting on Fódlan at some point in the future.

Heroes: Special Heroes (Hostile Springs), Comes January 23

If you caught the teaser pic from the other day, you’ll have probably had a hunch about an incoming hotsprings banner. Fans of the heat and squeaky-clean special summons can rejoice, as we’re about to receive just that, in the Hostile Springs Special Heroes Banner.

We do have a handful of new skills in this flier-centric series, aside from the neat variety of weapons, including Air Orders 3Atk Feint 3 and Spd Opening 3.

Included in the maps, Summoners can spot a flying Colorless dagger Camilla (someone arguably expected by fans, to appear in a Fates-based banner such as this). Camilla: Steamy Secrets will be a reward unit that can be earned in the next Tempest Trials+ event.

Hostile Springs brings with it, a paralogue miniseries (great for collecting Orbs), and the banner will be active from January 23 – February 22, (Midnight – 11:59 pm PT). If you’re interested in going for this batch, best of luck, and remember, there’s another Special Heroes banner coming out in a couple of weeks, so there’s a lot to consider for the month of February!

Heroes: “Festival of Hoshido” Banner, Coming Soon

Fire Emblem Heroes caught us by surprise with their latest “Festival in Hoshido” banner, teased just yesterday. I myself was caught by more surprise, when the released video trailer for the banner featuring just one Hoshidan…

That’s right; the upcoming Festival in Hoshido banner revealed to us four new units, including two alternates of units that we’ve seen before, as well as two alternates of fan favorites that had up until now, had no alts even considered. The most interesting part about this might not be the new alternate units, but weapons wielded by two of them; we now have colored Dagger users. Of course, you can also enjoy collecting some orbs from the accompanying Paralogue chapters and associated quests, so there will be plenty to do.

Festival of Hoshido will be active from August 10, until September 7, so there’s plenty of time to get your hands on this batch of dancers.

Serenes Forest Talent Showcase | June-mmunity Fanartist Month – Day 5 (Goldtectonic)

The Fire Emblem fanbase features talent of all kinds, and while some find their art production limited to in their own studios, others are able to take their work on the go and attend conventions in which to showcase and sell their talented creations. Goldtectonic is one such artist, as she’s visited cons, such as Fanime in California, to show off her goods, but also is quite active on her various social media outlets.

It took a while for Heroes to bring us Kinshi Knights, but it didn’t take long for fans to appreciate them.

In celebration of the new Ryoma and Hinoka variants released by the Fire Emblem Heroes team, look no further for a satisfied fan then GoldTectonic’s Ryoma and Hinoka charms! Preorders for these two are open until June 24, so if you want to get your hands on a Blue Sky Warrior or Supreme Samurai of your own, and haven’t had the good fortune in Heroes to summon one yourself, here’s a good way to fill that Hoshidan hole in your heart.

That’s pretty big, if you ask me!

Her prints can be found here as well, of course, and it should be mentioned that while she definitely is a fan of Ryoma in his Kinshi Knight form, her talent can be seen all over her charms availability, spreading out from the Fire Emblem Awakening cast to Fire Emblem Heroes cast (and this includes other variants of Ryoma, plus even some love for Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia).

This is a pretty diverse set, as you don’t see too many Frederick, Niles or Laslow charms.

Gold’s very active on her Twitter, and her charms can be found on her TicTail. With as active as she is in the fanart community, it’s worth paying her a visit and seeing what she’s able to create next!

If you’d like to show support for the community, pay them a visit at their respective Etsy, Twitter or otherwise listed pages above (anything bolded can be clicked). Give them a follow or a share, or pick one of their creations up for yourself if you’re able and interested.

If you want to have your work showcased on Serenes Forest, contact me (Elieson) on our forums and I’ll do my best to feature you and your talents. Bear in mind that June will feature more of a crafts lineup, while December will be our Draw-cember event, featuring talent more akin to drawings, paintings and the like.
