Heroes: New Tempest Trials Series to Continue from Book III

A year ago, Fire Emblem Heroes surprised us with “Ice & Flame”, a 6-part Tempest Trials+ series that brought back Fjorm and other characters from Book II.

Since then, fans have speculated if the same could happen for other Books. Well, now, it’s been confirmed that Book III will also be getting its own Tempest Trials+ series, starting with the one on 7th July 2022 (UTC).

Via the in-game notification: “The Tempest Trials+ event that starts at […] is part of a series about Eir and those whose lives she has touched. […]”

To hype up the occasion, the FE Heroes team have created a cutesy “chibi playhouse” video that whimsically recaps the events of Book III, in case you’ve forgotten what went down.

Three Hopes: New “Mysterious Mercenary” Trailer!

Out of nowhere, Nintendo has dropped a new trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, which releases on 24th June 2022.

A full analysis of the trailer from us will be coming later.

Amusingly, it seems the earlier Amazon Japan screenshots (which were taken down) originate from this trailer. Presumably, those screenshots were meant to be added after the trailer.

Update: Japanese trailer can be viewed here.

Additionally, the Japanese website has been updated with the new information from the trailer.

Besides that, the Japanese Twitter has shared profiles for the protagonist and their Sothis counterpart.

Heroes: Ash and Co Form a Band for Late April Fool’s Prank(?)

April Fool’s was 3 days ago, but y’know, sometimes it’s OK to be fashionably late.

Similar in vein to last year’s prank, which saw the Niðavellir siblings showcasing their mad dancing skills, Ash, Veronica and the Summoner have banded together to play a remix of “Lonely Puppeteer” (Elm’s boss theme and the music that plays in the Book VI trailer).

Via the official Twitter, the motion capture artists involved are Jill (Violin), MINA (Base) and Ryusuke Oishi (Tamborine).

“Fire Emblem Roundtable Vol. 4” Invites Japanese Fans to Participate in the Comedy Sketch

A few days ago, it was announced that the 4th Fire Emblem Roundtable casual livestream would be airing on 12th March 2022, from 18:00 to 20:00 (Japan time).

One of the new events is a comedy sketch performed by Kentaro Tone, who voices Reinhardt, Wrys and Bartre. As part of the event, an announcement video was uploaded on YouTube, allowing Japanese fans to take part by using the relevant hashtags on Twitter.

There are four “exhibits” that fans can submit jokes for. On the day, the hosts will read out the best entries. Those planning to submit should be aware that, if their joke is selected, their Twitter username may be displayed in public.
