Amelia leaves the map once Turn 12 begins, so make sure Franz or Eirika get to her quick. If she leaves, you have one more chance to recruit her in Chapter 13.
The two villages will become attacked pretty early on, so make sure you rush to them. The southern village is best approached with Vanessa, Tana or Ross if he is a Pirate. The western village can be reached easily by a mounted unit, such as Seth, but don’t forget to be careful of the enemy Sniper.
The boss, Binks, just stays where he is.

Turn 5: Two Brigands from the eastern mountains
The turn after Marisa is recruited, but not if she is killed, four Pegasus Knights and a Falcoknight appear from the south western mountains, three Pegasus Knights appear towards the north west and three Cavaliers and a Ranger appear from the south east.
Notes:
This is one of the few chapters that has an usable arena!
Marisa’s group moves out once you get close to the stairs south of the mountain fortress.
Recruiting Innes’ group might be a challenge at first. The first step is to recruit Innes himself. Tana would be the best one to do the job (make sure she is well trained), since Eirika takes a longer time with her lower movement. Innes can then recruit either Tethys or Gerik, and either of those two are recruit the other. You don’t have to talk to the allied characters to recruit them, as they will join at the end if they survived, but Marisa must be manually recruited.

If you bypass either the area below the southern stairway (where L’Arachel appears from at the beginning) or the passage south of the eastern stairways, then a group of monsters, to the south east, will move and attack. The group of monsters, particularly the Deathgoygle, could pose a threat to L’Arachel and your own units if you aren’t careful.
The boss is a Wight, positioned to the south west of the map. He will move and attack if you enter his range, but he’s not particularly powerful.
