Avatar: Hey, Percy. Getting some solo training in?
Percy: Sure am, Avatar! How else am I gonna be a great knight like Pop someday?
Avatar: That's our Percy. Keep it up, kid!
Percy: Hey! C'mon! Do ya have to say it like that?
Avatar: Like what?
Percy: Like I'm some kinda little kid! I'm a man now, you know!
Avatar: Haha. Yeah, I guess that's true, huh? OK, Percy. I'm sorry. I meant no offense. But you were saying you wanted to be a great knight like your father, right? You must really like him a lot.
Percy: I could like him without wanting to be like him, y'know. What it really is is respect! He's got it so hard, and yet he never gives up no matter what!
Avatar: What do you mean?
Percy: Well, like yesterday I saw him go through all kinds of things! He was hit by lightning, pooped on by wyverns, and trampled by a horse! And that's not even unusual. It's just sort of below-average. Pop goes through so much every day, and yet I've never seen him lose heart. For him, just getting out of bed must take more courage than most ever have!
Avatar: I...see. His life does sound trying. Perhaps there is something I could do to help him...

Percy: Avatar! I didn't see you there!

Percy: Hmmm. I want to practice dodging enemy missiles, so let's see... Ooh! Could you throw that pile of rocks at me? As fast as you can? If you could throw a bunch at the same time, that'd be best!

Avatar: What? Not a single one hit you. How is that possible?
Percy: Heehee! Right? I dodged them all!
Avatar: I don't know if you dodged them or if they dodged you.
Percy: Huh?
Avatar: It looked like they only missed you because of how they bounced off each other. You have some unbelievable luck.
Percy: What?! Come on! I dodged them because I train really hard! Not because of luck! You don't have to be so rude, you know.
Avatar: I'm sorry. I should have chosen my words more carefully. I didn't mean to take away from your accomplishment. I promise.

Avatar: So Arthur has incredibly bad luck, but his son has incredibly good luck. Their family reunions must be interesting...
Percy: All right! Grab up those rocks and let's go again!
