Fire Emblem Mobile Versions

Fire Emblem: Exam Fantasy

Fire Emblem: Exam Fantasy (火炎之纹章:高考之圣火) is an original Strategy RPG created by a Chinese fan using the RPG Maker XP engine. A 3 year anniversary edition was released during early 2010. It features characters from Berwick Saga.

Fire Emblem: Gaiden PC Version

A remake of Fire Emblem: Gaiden, created from the ground up using the Sim RPG Maker 95 engine, apparently released in 2003. It is not completely clear, but it seems the original version was made by a Chinese fan from ChinaFE. The game can be downloaded from here and also where a partial English translation can be found. There are a few changes to the game's mechanics due to limitations with Sim RPG Maker, such as spells require MP and not HP to cast, but otherwise the game plays very similarly to the original.

Fire Emblem: The Cycle of Light and Dark

Apparently released in 2002, Fire Emblem: The Cycle of Light and Dark (圣火降魔录外传:光与暗的轮回) is an original title for the Game Boy Colour, recycling graphical and gameplay elements from the Fire Emblem series. The battle and map sprites are ripped straight from the NES Fire Emblem titles, while the portraits are from the SNES titles. The game, which is only available in Chinese, spans 20+ chapters. One of the unique features of this game is a fairly well-built Skills system, which arguably outperforms that used in any Fire Emblem. Besides the lack of immediate creativity, flaws include repetitive music samples beyond the first couple of maps and a huge difficulty peak towards the endgame.
