Weapon Triangle

Physical weapon triangle: Swords > Axes > Lances > Swords
Magical weapon triangle: Fire > Wind > Thunder

Double Attack

Property Calculations
Attack Speed = Speed – (Weapon Weight – Strength, take as 0 if negative)

Double Attack if: (Attack Speed – enemy’s Attack Speed) >= 4

Damage

Property Calculations
Physical damage = Strength + [(Weapon Might + Weapon triangle bonus) x Effective coefficient] + Support bonus
Physical defence = Defence + Support bonus + Terrain Bonus
Magical damage = Magic + [(Weapon Might + Weapon triangle bonus) x Effective coefficient] + Support bonus
Magical defence = Resistance + Barrier/Pure Water bonus + Support bonus + Terrain bonus
Damage = [(Physical damage – enemy’s Physical defence) or (Magical damage – enemy’s Magical defence)] x Critical coefficient

Weapon triangle bonus: +1 if weapon is good against enemy’s weapon, -1 if bad against enemy’s weapon.

Effective coefficient: 2 if weapon is effective against enemy, 1 if not.

Critical bonus: 3 if critical is successful, 1 if not.

Accuracy

Property Calculations
Accuracy = Weapon Hit + (Skill x 2) + Luck + Biorhythm bonus + Weapon triangle bonus + Support bonus
Avoid = (Attack Speed x 2) + Luck + Biorhythm bonus + Support bonus + Terrain bonus [lowest value is 0]
Battle accuracy = Accuracy – enemy’s Avoid [lowest value is 0, highest value is 100]
Staff accuracy = {30 + [(Magic – enemy’s Resistance) x 5] + Skill} – (Distance between units x 2)

Weapon Triangle bonus: +10 if weapon is good against enemy’s weapon, -10 if bad against enemy’s weapon.

Biorhythm bonus: +5 if arrow is pointing up, -5 if arrow is pointing down (+/- 2 if user has Serenity, +/- 10 if user has Tempest).

Critical

Property Calculations
Critical rate = Weapon Critical + (Skill / 2) + Support bonus + Critical bonus
Dodge = Luck + Support bonus
Battle critical rate = Critical rate – enemy’s Dodge

Critical bonus: 15 if user is a Swordmaster, Berserker or Sniper

Note 1: If certain units are adjacent to another unit, they can reduce the enemy’s Critical rate to 0.

Note 2: Certain weapons can reduce the enemy’s Critical rate to 0. The extra critical from Wrath seems to bypass this.

Rescue and Shove

Rescue if: (Weight – other unit’s Weight) >= 2

Shove if: (other unit’s Weight – Weight) >= 2

Note: Only foot units can Shove.

Experience

Property Calculation
Power = Level + Class bonus
Battle Exp base = (21 + [enemy’s Power – Power]) / 2 + Easy mode bonus
Experience from doing no damage = 1
Experience from damaging enemy = Battle Exp base x Skill coefficient
Experience from defeating enemy = (Battle Exp base + [enemy’s Power – Power] + Mode bonus + Boss bonus + Thief bonus) x Skill coefficient

Class bonus: 20 if user is promoted (some classes like Princess Crimea count as promoted), 0 if not

Easy mode bonus: 5 if Easy mode

Skill coefficient: 2 if user has Paragon, 0.7 if user has Blossom, 1 if user has neither

Mode bonus: 30 for Easy mode, 20 for Normal mode, 15 for Hard mode, 10 for Maniac mode

Boss bonus: 30 if enemy is a boss, 40 if enemy is a boss in Easy mode

Thief bonus: 20 if enemy has the Steal skill

Stealing

Steal if: Attack Speed > enemy’s Attack Speed and Strength > enemy’s item Weight

Note 1: User must have the Steal skill to steal items (obviously)

Note 2: Equipped weapons cannot be stolen

Note 1: Weapon EXP is obtained even if no damage is done or the attack misses.

Note 2: Characters can only have one S Rank.

Note 3: Non-promoted characters can reach a maximum B Rank (Weapon EXP towards an A Rank cannot be obtained).

Note 4: Sages can reach a maximum B Rank in Staves.
