Meeting Sommie
Alear: Oh my… What in the world is this creature?
Vander: Ah, so you have found it at last.
Alear: Vander? What do you know about this little one?
Vander: Not much, unfortunately. It began to appear shortly before you awoke from your slumber.
Vander: Queen Lumera once said it is something of a guardian spirit for the Somniel.
Vander: Claimed to have played with it in her youth.
Alear: She did?! So this creature has been alive for a very long time.
Alear: You know, I do feel a sort of…affinity toward it.
Vander: It seems to have taken a liking to you as well, Divine One. Would it please you to care for it?
Vander: If it is truly the guardian spirit of the Somniel, doing so may bring some manner of benefit.
Alear: What a great idea. Now that I’ve met it, I’d like us to be friends.
Alear: Let’s see… I’ll call you…
Alear: Yes, I like that name…!
Alear: It’s nice to meet you! I hope you like your new name, ___.
Vander: It looks well pleased. Don’t forget to say hello to it when next you see it around.
Bracelet of the Three Houses
Vander: Divine One, we discovered this mysterious bracelet in southern Firene.
Vander: There appear to be more of them enshrined on the islands off the coast. We should investigate.
Alear: There’s an Emblem inside this bracelet, all right. The presence inside is…complicated.
Alear: But I think I have the invocation.
Alear: Lead us, Emblem of Rivals!
Edelgard: Finally, we’re free. I am Emblem Edelgard.
Dimitri: Pleased to meet you. I am Emblem Dimitri.
Claude: Guess that makes me Emblem Claude. Hi there.
Alear: That must have been a crowded bracelet…
Alear: Sorry, I should introduce myself. I’m the Divine Dragon ___.
Alear: You’re obviously not from Elyos. May I ask what you’re doing here?
Edelgard: Until recently, we were the guardians of another world. It seems we were moved somehow.
Alear:I get the feeling you’ve come to give me some sort of test.
Edelgard: No need for that. You were able to summon us. That is enough.
Edelgard: And your timing is excellent. We were just growing weary of each others’ conversation.
Claude: Speak for yourself. I thought Dimitri’s stories were getting better with every telling.
Dimitri: Yes, the sarcastic interruptions kept increasing too. Coincidence, I’m sure.
Alear: You three all seem to be…really comfortable with each other.
Edelgard: Appearances can be deceiving.
Dimitri: Really, Edelgard?
Claude: She’s kidding. You can tell because her face looks exactly the same as when she’s serious.
Edelgard: Heh-heh, we have always been in competition. It will be refreshing to join forces.
Dimitri: I should explain. We were all students at the Officers Academy, but we led different houses.
Alear: That’s what you meant by competition.
Edelgard: Yes. We only truly came together for special events, like the Battle of the Eagle and Lion.
Dimitri: A traditional mock battle between the houses, to celebrate one another’s strengths.
Edelgard: The real celebration was afterward. Our festivities got rather exuberant that night.
Claude: Dimitri looks pretty straitlaced, but don’t let him fool you, ___.
Claude: Between you and me, he’s like a force of destruction at a party.
Claude: I’m surprised they didn’t expel his whole house for those shenanigans.
Alear: Haha, must have been quite a night.
Dimitri: You only just met him, so you can’t tell if he’s joking. Just ignore half of everything he says.
Claude: Come on, be fair. At least a third of what I say is worth hearing.
Edelgard: You do know a third is less than half, right?
(If Byleth is present)
Byleth: I see we’ve gained some dependable allies.
Edelgard: Professor! You’re here as well? Now I truly feel motivated.
Edelgard: What an honor it will be to fight by your side!
Byleth: If you’re that honored, I’ll have to make sure I’m at my best.
Dimitri: This little reunion reminds me of the day we first met the professor.
Edelgard: You mean that night our camp was attacked by bandits?
Dimitri: That’s right. Only now, Claude won’t be able to make any “strategic retreats.”
Claude: I guess we are sort of stuck together now, aren’t we?
Claude: I hate to say it, but we’ll need to learn to get along better if we’re fighting on the same side.
Byleth: Yes. You will.
Edelgard: True. None of us can do all that we must on our own.
Edelgard: But together, as part of this army, I think defeat is inconceivable.
Edelgard: Maybe I sound arrogant, but I’m that confident in the skills our professor has taught us.
Edelgard: Wouldn’t you agree, my teacher?
Byleth: Of course. I am proud of you all. This time, let us fight together to the end.
(Endnote)
Edelgard: Let me say it formally, ___.
Edelgard: Our power is at your disposal. Please make the most of it.
Dimitri: Victory will be ours, have no fear. We are here to help.
Claude: And if these two and their conventional tactics fail, maybe I’ll show you a few tricks.
Alear: That’s all very reassuring. Thank you.
Alear: I’ll do my best to help the three of you work together.
Ancient Well
Durthon: Hey, I lost a weapon down the back garden well. If you spot it, could you grab it for me?
(After obtaining Représailles and Revanche from the Ancient Well.)
Durthon: You found my weapon? Thank you! Wait…you found both of these in the well?
Durthon: Neither is the one I dropped, but they’re great! Clearly not forged in any of the nations I know…
Durthon: You should hold on to these, Divine One. There’s something odd about that well.
Unlock Fell Xenologue
Vander: Divine One, we have been getting reports lately of a strange presence coming from this well.
Vander: I have not been able to find anything unusual about it, but perhaps you should investigate.
