	Cecil	Member of the 7th platoon of Altean knights. Originally from the 9th platoon. Hates to lose and often gets into fights unintentionally.
	Arran	Commander of the Altean knights. Afflicted by illness. Originally a wandering paladin.
	Gordin	Bowman of Altea, a little timid. He escaped to Talys with Marth during the War of Shadows.
	Ryan	Member of the 7th platoon of Altean knights. He is timid, just like his elder brother Gordin.
	Draug	Knight of Altea, known for his rigid defence. During the War of Shadows, he acted as the knights’ shield.
	Malliesia	A young girl from Grust. High-spirited and prone to flights of fancy. She pretended to be a child to hide from Lang.

	Linde	Court official who serves at Akaneia Palace. Her father was killed by Gharnef in the War of Shadows and she joined Marth’s forces to exact vengeance.
	Palla	Eldest of the pegasus sisters. Has a gentle personality. During the War of Shadows, she aided Marth together with Minerva.
	Bord	Woodcutter from Talys. Ogma’s subordinate. He is renown for his great skill. During the War of Shadows, he aided Marth together with Ogma.
	Julian	Former thief of Medon. During the War of Shadows, he resigned from thievery after meeting Lena.
	Matthis	Noble of Medon, Lena’s elder brother. Over-protective of his sister, but slowly getting over it. During the War of Shadows, he was persuaded by Lena to join Marth’s cause.
	Wrys	Curate who resides at Talys. During the War of Shadows, he supported Marth with his healing skills.
	Ogma	Leader of the Talys mercenaries. An experienced fighter, his loyalty to Shiida is absolute. He and his subordinates aided Marth in the War of Shadows.

	Shiida	Princess of Talys. Loves her fiance, Marth, dearly. She persuaded many enemies to join her side during the War of Shadows.
	Barst	Former woodcutter from Talys. He has a mild-mannered personality. During the War of Shadows, he aided Marth together with Ogma, but later left Talys for whereabouts unknown.
	Rickard	A traveling thief. Hard to hate. Swore off thievery after the War of Shadows, but has returned to his old ways.
	Frey	Knight of Altea, willing to sacrifice himself for the cause. He aided Marth’s escape during the War of Shadows.
	Norne	A volunteer soldier from Altea. Despite being a villager, she wished to aid Marth’s battle during the War of Shadows.
	Samto	A mercenary hired by Lang. A bit of a joker. Tries to pass himself off as Nabarl.

	Feena	Dancer from Warren. Has a bright personality. She was separated from her companions and was chased by thieves, before being rescued by Nabarl.
	Cain	Knight of Altea. Nicknamed the Great Bull. He rode the battlefields along with Abel in the War of Shadows.
	Bantu	Survivor of the Fire Dragons. During the War of Shadows, he fought as Marth’s comrade.
	Roger	Knight of Grust. A man who lives for love. During the War of Shadows, he was persuaded by Shiida to join Marth’s army.
	Jeorge	Knight of Akaneia, the greatest bowman on the continent. His loyalty to Nyna is absolute, he aided Marth in the War of Shadows.
	Minerva	Princess of Medon. Nicknamed the Red Dracoknight. Worries about her younger sister, Maria, and elder brother, Michalis.

	Darros	A free sailor from Talys. He abandoned his life of piracy and joined Marth’s companions during the War of Shadows.
	Robert	Member of Grust’s Sable Knights. His loyalty to Camus is absolute and doesn’t fear death.

	Dolph	Former General of Akaneia. A honest character. He aided Marth as an Akaneian knight during the War of Shadows, but left the army afterwards.
	Abel	Former knight of Altea. Nicknamed the Black Panther. He rode the battlefields along with Cain in the War of Shadows, but has since retired from the army.
	Macellan	Leader of Akaneia’s vigilante force. Has an aggressive personality. He aided Marth as an Akaneian knight during the War of Shadows, but left the army afterwards.
	Astram	Captain of the Akaneian mercenaries, the most skilled hero in the land. His loyalty to Nyna is absolute, he aided Marth in the War of Shadows.

	Nyna	Princess of Akaneia. In the past, she was rescued from execution by Camus the Sable. She entrusted the Fire Emblem to Marth during the War of Shadows.
	Maria	Princess of Medon. Wishes to be of help to her elder sister and brother. During the War of Shadows, she was rescued from confinement by Marth.
	Elice	The princess of Altea, Marth’s elder sister. Kind-hearted. She was kidnapped by Gharnef during the War of Shadows.
	Jagen	Marth’s trusted adviser, very strict. He served as knight commander during the War of Shadows. (Cannot be recruited)
	Roro	Member of the assassins. Wears an eerie mask, his words belie his true intentions. (Cannot be recruited in the main story)
	Lang	General of Akaneia, Emperor Hardin’s direct subordinate. Though he is commander of Grust, his selfish desires torment the citizens. (Cannot be recruited)

	Gotoh	The White Sage, master of Akaneia’s magic. During the War of Shadows he advised and fought alongside Marth. (Cannot be recruited)
	King Aurelis	Ruler of the kingdom of Aurelis in the north eastern plains of Akaneia. He faced an invasion by Doluna during the War of Shadows, but was saved by Marth. (Cannot be recruited)
	Boah	Court bishop of Akaneia, advises Nyna with political affairs. He joined the Akaneian knights to aid Marth in the War of Shadows. (Cannot be recruited in the main story)
