The first thing here would be to use Yumina’s Rescue staff on Est, whose location is shown in the next picture:

In this chapter, what I like to do is to split my group in two. Half of it goes east to where Est is was captured, preventing the paladins and horsemen from attacking the group that takes the long road.

Marth should be in the group that takes the long road for two reasons: villages and Abel. Just like in Book 1 you can only visit one of the 2 towns. Left one gives you a Dragonshield, right one an Energy Ring. Choose whatever you need the most. As for Abel, his initial location is here:

Note that he doesn’t stay there. He will move to attack you. Also, bow-using reinforcements will be coming from the northern forts. I prefer to block the forts rather than fight, the thieves that will come out from the forts near the castle make a better experience source.

Overall, the chapter is not hard as enemies are weaker than the mamkutes you were fighting previously.
