A translation from one of our forum members Torii yet again gives us some details into what is actually happening via the dialog.
Twitter description: The two are enjoying a stroll in an Aytolis forest. Corrin is excited over seeing animals for the first time, Xander is warmly watching over Corrin’s lively figure.
Corrin: Ah, there’s a beautiful coloured bird over there. Haha, it’s cute isn’t it?
Xander: Haha, you look like you’re having fun, Corrin. Are animals and birds really that foreign to you?
Corrin: Of course! It’s because I’m just seeing these for the first time. Besides, given the circumstances saying this is a bit out of place, but I’m a little happy to be able to go around seeing various things with my older brothers while being outside of that castle.
Xander: That’s right. I too was just feeling the same way. Also, in all honesty I’m relieved to finally see your face so full of life.
Interestingly, this support reveals something; this Corrin is not familiar with the world, so it seems as if the Fates characters have been taken from events preceding Chapter 6 or even before the start of Fates proper, seemingly similar to how the Awakening crew is from the early parts of Awakening. Corrin’s line of “being outside of that Castle” is a clear reference to Castle Krakenburg, the residence of Nohrian royalty.
Marth, meanwhile, seems to be from the late part of Shadow Dragon, considering he has Falchion, (but even that may be just a creative liberty). They may be going off the early parts of each game, and if so, I think the roster might be focused more around the early games of all three included games. In Marth’s case, they may focus on the later game as to give people their dues, like Camus (a very popular character overall). This is just a theory, however, so take it with a grain of salt.
