Genei Ibun Roku #FE: Release Date and Product Details

Today, the Genei Ibun Roku #FE official site updated with a plethora of new information to whet prospecting buyers’ appetites.

Update: Added larger product images from 4Gamer.

The first and perhaps most vital detail is the (Japanese) release date: 26th December 2015, which is coincidentally(?) a day after Christmas.

Next, like many Japanese RPGs these days, the game will feature costume DLC; the first batch will generously be included with all first-print editions of the game.

So if you’re early to the party, you can look forward to the following Atlus “collaboration costumes” for the four main characters:

  • Persona Q Rei (Tsubasa)
  • Etrian Odyssey 3 Princess (Kiria)
  • Devil Survivor 2 Hero (Itsuki)
  • Shin Megami Tensei IV Walter (Toma)

In a similar trend, there will be two special editions of the game–dubbed the “Fortissimo Edition“–that are either standalone or come bundled with a Wii U console.

Both special editions come packaged in a special box and include the following trinkets:

  • Original artbook
  • Genei Ibun Roku #FE special vocal selection CD
  • Priority ticket application for the Genei Ibun Roku #FE Premium Live
  • First-print “Collaboration costume” DLC
  • “Original costume triple-set” DLC

Whoa, whoa, stop right there! That’s a whole bunch of news within the news!

The “Genei Ibun Roku #FE Premium Live“, which probably caught your eye first, is a live concert where the voice actors sing their songs from the game.

According to the concert’s official site, the concert takes place on 15th May 2016 at the Nakano Sun Plaza in Japan.

Secondly, the “original costume triple-set” features these glamorous costume sets:

  • Fashion Girl set: Maid Eleanora, Santa Tsubasa, Nurse Kiria
  • Female Swimwear Set: Eleanora, Tsubasa, Kiria, Maiko and others
  • Male Swimwear Set: Itsuki, Toma and others

Internet complaints in 3, 2… oh wait, there’s swimwear for the guys, so that’s totally OK, right?

Finally, the Wii U “Fortissimo Edition” bundle also includes:

  • 32 GB black Wii U (plus everything you’d expect with a Wii U)
  • 6 character lyric cards
  • 2 original sticket sheets
  • 3 “support quest” download codes

Evidently, the Wii U bundle is the definitive edition, but if you have a Wii U already, don’t worry because the standalone “Fortissimo Edition” has all the meat anyway.
