Get ready to dance and sing along with four new Special Heroes in the upcoming banner in Fire Emblem Heroes! Heroes has just shared the Performing Arts preview trailer to showcase these new characters in all their glory. Check it out below!

The Performing Arts summoning focus contains special, limited versions of Olivia, Inigo, Azura, and Shigure. Each hero comes with a new weapon and at least one other new skill. Additionally, every single one comes with a Sing or Dance assist skill to help your units in battle, and a way to enhance those skills! Check out full unit details below.

A new paralogue, also called Performing Arts, will release at the same time. @FE_Heroes_JP has also confirmed that we’ll get a new log-in bonus as well!

Definitely rolling for this. Could use a decent dancer. And their art is all great as well.

Notice Inigo… in Awakening, he inherited the dancing skills of his mother, but he himself could never class change into a dancer… nice callback.

  • dmurr

Ho boy. This is a dangerous banner..

  • mrkisukes

    4 New dancer archetypes?…daaaamn…

    • Sisyphe

Yeah, I’m a big Azura fan, but I generally don’t pull for focus heroes that have another hero in the same color, so I’m torn. I don’t hate Inigo, but I don’t have any real desire for him either

      • MetalGear Lamia

This Azura is who I want!

        • mrkisukes

Well, I have a feeling that any of these characters will prove to be OP in the arena, while Azura has the clear OP dance boosts, the other 3 are ranged units which in and of itself will be a nasty thing to worry about. Olivia especially, depending on her stat spread, could prove to be a deadly character in the arena with the Poison Dagger.

  • Anne O’Namus

Oh hey, I just noticed, it’s Mother/Son teams

  • Sisyphe

Dancers are already a pain to predict with the AI being the way it is, so I’m afraid this will negatively affect balance.

Also, do we have any idea if these will be exclusive? It’s probably better if they are, but it doesn’t seem like the kind of banner that definitely is.

    • dmurr

Olivia is pretty common, and with Ninian and Azura having been in Hero Fest banners I find they aren’t super rare either. Three is the most dancers you can have on a team and have them be able to do anything. Especially since these are likely one-time or rare units, I doubt it’ll change the game too much.

      • Sisyphe

Well they aren’t common enough that every defensive team more or less runs one, and that’s what I’m afraid of. A dancer can kill an arena or an assault streak just by luck depending on how they line up, and unlike horse, dancers don’t check other dancers

  • MetalGear Lamia

Oh Heroes always doing what the main games didn’t do loooooool!

  • MetalGear Lamia

*sees Azura and Olivia* must try to pull, especially Azura!

  • I know what banner I’m going to skip… Yay for dancer creep.

    • Sisyphe

Might as well join in on the dancer creep…

      • That’s true in a way, but I’m not a big fan of these characters anyhow. In fact all the 5* 3DS characters I’ve gotten have turned into inheritance fodder or simply into feathers. I have a +1 Ninian that I’m pleased with, and I might get Nils or Tethys eventually. Honestly, dancers would’ve been much more balanced if they had something negative to them, like an inability to counterattack or something like that. This banner is good in a way though, since I might stop seeing +10 Aquas with wings slapped onto them, which is forcing me to cripple myself by initiating combat or making sure the enemy is ORKO’d.

      • All things considered I probably don’t deserve to take a casualty here… But of course I will. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/6ef92cf8c09e34cf948200332345f6bb8322ac441843ca88d8201e2dd7463e65.png

        • Sisyphe

Yeesh. I’m not sure how to balance dancers. You could remove their ability to attack at all and they’d still be able to perform 90% of their role

          • Indeed, although having a downside would at least make their pick have more thought put into it and make them fill more of a niche. As it is now you can slot them in anywhere and they’ll perform brilliantly pretty much. And yea that was my seventh battle in the arena so it made me a bit salty. :v

  • speedster

glad i was right about yura designing dancer shigure. yura does have a peculiar way of drawing hair

  • Shenai

I need that Inigo something fierce. But honestly I want all of them, wow.

Very valuable to make Arena Assault less annoying.

  • Fallen Crow

    I WANT THEM ALL

  • Ale. A. Santi

ahh No Tethys or other old school FE Dancers? :<

    • I don’t think you understand – that would be admitting the older games exist during a seasonal Banner, they can’t do that.

  • Mary Robinson

I am sooooo glad I saved my orbs and my iTunes gift cards because I want all of these and as many as I can possibly pull! Cannot wait, and thank you IS, take my money!!

  • Larverto

Right after I spent probably at least 50 orbs for the Ninian and Hawkeye banner, a banner where all the focus heroes are dancers/singers is announced a few days later. I’d like to have any of them, though Olivia is probably the one I want the least.

  • kirindas

Definitely going to try and get some more dancers to make my Arena Assault runs easier. Probably skipping Olivia, I don’t need colorless hell right now. >_<

  • Hunter Cremen

So instead of characters we already have wouldn’t this have been a great time to finally release other dancer-like characters we haven’t seen yet? If would actually go for this if it was Nils/Tethys/maybe even a heron.

  • O.H. X-1990

Forget it, I’m not spending any Orbs to summon those characters, because I always end up summoning the weak 3-Star Heroes! I’m done! I might as well save those Orbs, forever!

Oh, and by the way, Dancer Inigo is gay looking!
