Heroes: Today’s Update includes CYL4 winners banner (ft. 4x Spark), CYL4 Free Summon, CYL4-themed Forging Bonds Event (ft. 4x Free First Summon Tickets), Dragonflower limit increase, and a new Main Story chapter!

Today’s FE Heroes update is here, and it’s a nice addition to the rather small v.4.8.0 update we received earlier this month.

A shortlist of all of today’s additions to the game:

  • CYL 4 Winners Banner (A New Future) is now available to summon from,
  • This particular New Banner can be “Sparked” not once, but four times (you still need to summon 40 times between each Spark),
  • One free Summon of any CYL4 Hero,
  • Forging Bonds event featuring the four new CYL winners
  • Dragonflower limit raised for all Heroes released before the 18th of August 2020 will be raised by 5. Specific details will be included below.
  • New Main Story Chapter: Book IV, Chapter 10: “Lack

First off, the new banner: “A New Future“!

Dimitri: King of Faerghus, Claude: Almyra’s King, Edelgard: Adrestian Emperor, and Lysithea: Earnest Seeker are now available to summon. You can click on “Read more” below to view their skills and level 40 base stats.

Don’t forget that you can “Spark” up to four times (each focus Hero once only), so use this to your advantage if you have the Orbs to do so and you want to secure yourself at least one copy of each (besides the free pull, of course).

As is tradition regarding CYL winners, you can also receive one of the new Brave Heroes of your choice for free!

If you plan to use Orbs and summon from the new banner, you should probably hold off on your free pick until you’re finished with the banner.

Also today: A new Forging Bonds event has begun featuring the four new Brave Heroes. Be aware that the event contains minor spoilers for events within the Three Houses game, but not so much that would sully your experience should you choose to play it for yourself.

Playing the event will net you up to four Free First Summon Tickets along with new accessories based on the four new Heroes, along with a total of 14 Orbs for daily participation.

Click on “Read more” below to view information on the new Heroes as well as information regarding the Dragonflower limit increase.

Bonds that Connect Worlds video – A supplementary addition for the four new Brave Heroes – fully voiced by the Heroes’ voice actors!

Hear from the Heroes – Short videos, for each of the Brave Heroes. You will need a Twitter account to listen in though. Alternatively, StormwindGames has compiled all the outcomes on YouTube.

Tips & Tricks – Videos showcasing the Brave Heroes’ abilities, recorded by the Nintendo Treehouse team. Note: At the time of writing, the video for Claude and Lysithea has been removed due to an error in Lysithea’s weapon description.

Heroes who could be improved 10 times can now be improved 15 times. E.g., Year 1 and Year 2 Infantry units.

Heroes who could be improved 5 times can now be improved 10 times. E.g., Every single unit of all movement types that have ever been released before the 18th of August 2020, except for the above-mentioned units who already have a new limit of 15 Dragonflower upgrades.

The cost of these additional 5 levels will total to 600 Dragonflowers for all units, regardless of the total cost of their initial levels.
