Quite a few things dropped in Fire Emblem Heroes today, but we’ll start with the new Movie for Book III, titled “Cohort of the Dead.” Avoid watching if you have yet to play Book III: Chapter 8 and don’t wish to be spoiled.

This video features Alfonse and Líf, with dialogue lifted from Book III, Chapter 8 and the most recent Book III, Chapter 9.

Of course, this Movie was set to coincide with today’s release of Book III, Chapter 9: Cohort of the Dead.

You can play through this new Chapter on all three difficulties to earn up to 15 Orbs, and you can earn an extra 5 Orbs by completing the Lunatic difficulty quests. These quests are available from today until the 7th of August, 6:59am UTC.

A new banner to coincide with the upcoming release of Fire Emblem: Three Houses has been released!

The banner was recently revealed with its own trailer, but to recap, we have Female Byleth: Proven Professor, Dimitri: The Protector, Edelgard: The Future, and Claude: The Schemer on focus for this new banner.

The banner is available from today until the 7th of August, 6:59am UTC.

From today, you can play Forging Bonds and progress through each character’s event as you score more points for them. The four Heroes from today’s banner are the focus of this Forging bonds event. Up for grabs are four Free Summon tickets that can be used with the new banner, daily Orbs (2 per day, with a maximum of 14 Orbs available), some new accessories related to each of the four Heroes, as well as other materials and currencies such as Sacred Coins, Feathers, and Grails.

Forging Bonds begins today and will close on the 5th of August, 6:59am UTC.

Today begins an Aether Raids event.

Through quest completion, you can earn extra materials called Summer Aether Stones and spend them to create new special structures that can be used within the Aether Raids mode.

This event is available from today until the 7th of August, 6:59am UTC.

To wrap up today, the devs have created an official Heroes English Twitter account!

“Feeeeeeeh!” – Feh, probably.
