Back in February, it was announced that a special 5th Anniversary Memorial Box would be releasing in Japan to celebrate 5 years of Fire Emblem Heroes.

Ahead of the pre-order deadline on 31st March 2022, Intelligent Systems has shared a short promotion video (above) and a blog post detailing the contents. Most of the information can be found in our earlier article.

The main thing that’s new is this wonderful illustration by veteran artist Yusuke Kozaki, which forms part of the “Main Visual Set”, a set of 7 illustrations measuring 242 x 322 mm (the other 6 are the key visuals for Books I to VI).

Mr. Kozaki also left a message for FE Heroes fans:

It’s fast approached 10 years since I was involved in the FE series.
Within that time period, I’ve been drawing for FE Heroes for over 5 years. This has only been possible because of everyone playing the game and the love they possess for the characters.
I discussed the contents of this new illustration with Intelligent Systems, but the number of characters we wanted to include increased one by one, so in the end it was decided that if we’re going to go this far, we’d have at least one character from each respective series.
This is likely a very rare opportunity.
We present this to you as a token of our gratitude! Keep up the good work, FE Heroes!!

Thanks to everyone, we’ve reached our 5th anniversary! Thank you all so much!!
Including the development period, this is a title that we’ve known for a very long time.
While developing Three Houses etc., I was busy recording voice lines for Heroes and composing music for Three Heroes in-between at the studio, and while things were fluttering along, I felt like in the blink of an eye “it’s already been 5 years”.
I’ve worked hard on this title, in a way I’ve never experienced before, and I’m very grateful to be able to walk alongside everyone thanks to this title.
The box is… much bigger than I expected! I know what’s inside, but there’s still something very exciting about it (laugh).
Of course, there’s music included, but it’s also packed with other items to help you look back on 5 years of memories, so please grab one if you can~!!
