Pokemon Shaymin Giveaway

Totally unrelated to Fire Emblem, but kind of related to forests.

To celebrate the New Year and the recent release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, I’m giving away one Shaymin to a lucky forum member.

Giveaway ends in approximately 24 hours. Rules and conditions can be found on this page.

Fire Emblem Awakening Japanese merchandise incoming

Fire Emblem: Awakening came out in Japan over 2 and a half years ago, but the merchandise hasn’t stopped rolling just yet.

Just recently, Volume 5 and Volume 6 of the rubber key straps were announced for released in April 2015 (in Japan). They weren’t kidding when they said this was an “all unit collection”!

(Any guesses who the secret characters will be this time? There probably aren’t many characters left now…)

Also, in case you missed the previous four volumes, you’re in luck because apparently they’re being restocked, for sale in April 2015 too.

If you prefer your books, the Fire Emblem Awakening Comic Anthology was released during Christmas and the Fire Emblem Awakening 4-Koma KINGS is scheduled for release on 24th January 2015.

(For those unaware, 4-Koma is short for “four panel comics”.)

Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn OST coming to Japan

Happy holidays!

Despite the games coming out many years ago, Nintendo are finally releasing the official soundtracks for Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn on 4th March 2015 (in Japan).

Each soundtrack is spread across 4 disks (so 8 for both) and comes with a 12 page booklet. The Path of Radiance soundtrack includes 64 tracks, while the Radiant Dawn soundtrack is a bit bigger at 85 tracks. Of course, these are the same number of tracks as in the games’ sound rooms.

Hopefully this is a sign of further celebrations to come, seeing as 2015 is the series’s 25th anniversary! Judging from the soundtrack descriptions, there’s a possibility more previously unreleased soundtracks might be coming too.

Incoming Site Downtime This Weekend

Hey guys, our server is going to be migrated from one data center to another as part of our hosting company’s data center upgrades this weekend. The end result is that we will be down for up to 4 hours between the times of 10PM-2PM Central Time (GMT-6) this Saturday, December 13th. Although I doubt it will take them the full 4 hours to complete the migration, I thought it’d be prudent to give you guys a heads-up. I think this will actually be the first time in our history with this host of there being actual downtime not caused by our own doing. That said, sorry for the inconvenience!
