    Moment of silence for Helbindi

  • 100%B-Type

Helbindi and Ylgr? I ship that!

    • MetalGear Lamia

      Uh…..you need a healer…

      • 100%B-Type

Sorry, I didn’t know someone would think that way like you

        • MetalGear Lamia

          Your a creep…

          • Kneekicker

That’s rather rude, don’t you think?

          • MetalGear Lamia

            Uh….no

          • Shenai

Yes, it is. And come on, always upvoting your own comments?

          • MetalGear Lamia

No its not freedom to judge and they are putting them in the bad please gtfo….

          • Shenai

I thought it was freedom of speech… Anyway, even if I don’t agree with someone’s opinion doesn’t mean I go around insulting them because of it. That’s called being rude. You’re free to do it, but let’s call it by its name.
If you disagree with someone I’m sure you can manage to express that without resorting to insults.

          • Kneekicker

Are you insinuating it’s alright to mock others you don’t know because you don’t agree with them? You need to rethink your life if your answer is anything but a negative.

          • MetalGear Lamia

Mocking what? someone that’s trying to put bad reception of a character that’s clearly not that type of guy and would look very bad please just gtfo to anyone that think something like this is ok just leave….

          • Kneekicker

I won’t touch on the nature of shipping itself, but calling others creeps for superficial reasons is unjustifiable no matter the context. Helbindi and Ylgr are bare-bones in character at the moment, so there’s no faulting fans for drastically altering pre-existing personalities as such a thing doesn’t exist at the moment; Bruno and Veronica were heavily shipped back when they were still unknown, but many of their shippers bailed out once they were fleshed out and more aspects of their characters came to light such as their blood relations.

The Fire Emblem fandom in general is and has always been quite keen on shipping, both pre-Awakening and post-Awakening. You act as if this was the first occurrence of such a thing in the franchise’s 28-year life.

    • O.H. X-1990

Too bad Helbindi is dead, an overgrown evil brute and that little girl don’t mix anyway.

      • It’s actually quite possible Helbindi managed to retreat – his final line starts ‘can’t die yet’ which is ambiguous enough to imply he may have made it out. Perhaps not likely, but certainly not impossible.

  • Diovani Estivalet

With 65 orbs, I got 2 5-stars: Lene and Delthea.
My free summon was a 4 stars Shigure, for my surprise. Ward Fliers as 4 stars is always good.
I think the best summon from today was a 4 stars +Atk -Res Marth. I already promoted him and now he is Lv40+7. More 3 to go!

    • Diovani Estivalet

Lene is +Spd – Atk. Having 38 Atk is bad… But she is a dancer so Atk is not important. I believe she will be demoted.
Also, her weapon is pretty good! She has 23 Def, but during enemy’s turn she has 30! I don’t know what refinement I will choose. I am between Def, so she can have 34 Def in enemy’s turn, or Res, so she can have 32 and be really resistent to both Def and Res. Also, she needs the +5 HP from the refined weapon.

  • MetalGear Lamia

Got Ishtar and god damn she’s amazing as expected its Ishtar after all!

  • Just Some Guy

You could put the £ price as well… There’s more currencies than just those two.

    • speedster

He probably wasn’t thinking of it at the time. No biggie

  • dmurr

Lene looks cool, but I think I’m gonna pass on this banner for once.

  • kirindas

Spent 150 orbs and got Ares (-Atk), Soleil (-atk), Lyn (sword), Sanaki, so my 5* rate has been good. I’m aiming for Lene and Ishtar though, so a tad annoyed I’m not able to get them yet.

  • Bongo Beans

Eldigan destroyed my Ayra hopes thrice, and now his son has stopped me getting Lene. That family hates me.

  • mrkisukes

Helbindi…press F to pay your respects.

Also, Ylgr is a fake and is actually just Loki in disguised…I’m calling it right now.

    • Bongo Beans

Pam finds Gunnthra in the shower and the previous chapter was a dream. Gunnthra is given as a free unit to celebrate the update.

  • James Richardson III

I ended up getting Hardin and 4 star Sothe. No complaints. It would be cool to get Ishtar, though.

  • JC

Managed to get Ishtar practically for free (9 orbs into summoning), and, many more orbs later, an Ares too. Both -Atk/+Res. And this after pulling not one, but two -Atk L!Ephraims (+Spd, +Res) on the last banner. I think I’m sensing a pattern. Time to save up and try for Lene…wonder what her bane will be if I manage to pull her! >_<

  • 3-13 Archer

Got an Ishtar on my second session. Nothing more for me in this banmer, though I’d like to summon a 4* Nanna. But any banner works for that.

  • Volttekka

God DAMN pulling for Ishtar was a bitch
Had both Miciah and Delthea break my pity streak
Goodbye 80+ orbs, hello +Def -Res Ishtar

    • Zog58

3 good blue mages in around 80 orbs is pretty amazing, actually. At least you got her too, congrats!

  • O.H. X-1990

Pfft, that Helbindi was a pushover, good thing he’s dead, he’s out of our sights. And I’ve managed to save that Ylgr, but how did she know my name? Fjorm was going to introduce her to me, but then she coughed, and Ylgr said my name out of the blue. …Could it be that Ylgr is…a spy?! …Nah, it couldn’t be, there’s no way Ylgr is a spy, and by “spy” I mean “Loki in disguise”, nope, no way, not possible! Ylgr was Helbindi’s prisoner, and I rescued her! Intelligent Systems better not kill off Ylgr the same way they killed off Gunnthrá, because that would be sickening! I’m on to you, Intelligent Systems!

    • Diovani Estivalet

It’s not confirmed that Helbindi is dead, like the other character you love.
The phrase: “I can’t die yet… Not yet…” can also means maybe he decided to run away.
Anna mentioned “One squad down”, but not Helbindi’s Death. I believe he will return. IS would not introduce a new unit and kill him in the same chapter. Even the character you love so much took some months until her’s death.

      • O.H. X-1990

Anna said “one squad down”, but guess what, kid? Helbindi was part of that squad who is down, therefore Helbindi is pretty much dead, and his sister will be in the next chapter to try to avenge him. And honestly, Helbindi isn’t all that tough, not even in Lunatic mode, unlike Ishtar and Ares (two of the Genealogy characters that this Goddamn game won’t let me summon, I might add)! Also, did you just mention Gunnthrá, the one Legendary Hero who was killed off by Surtr and Intelligent Systems, just to ridicule me because you summoned her and I didn’t?! That’s low, even for you, kid!

        • Diovani Estivalet

Well… I only put the possibility of he being alive. There is no reason to be agressive. And all Múspell’s generals are not that hard to defeat. Surtr could be easily be defeated if he didn’t have that Múspellflame skill. He is the boss, but don’t have Distant Counter.
And yes, I have a Gunnthrá, +3 to be more precise.

          • O.H. X-1990

Oh, Surtr will soon be defeated, when the Summoner (like me) will shoot him in order to nullify the Múspellflame skill, permanently! It’s over for Helbindi, he’s out, dead, so the next enemy to be killed will be his sister, along with Laevatein, Laegjarn, Loki, and finally Surtr! Surtr’s end is near, Gunnthrá will be avenged!
You have more than one Gunnthrá? Then you ARE ridiculing me, you and your fellow trolls who summoned her easily, even as a freebie! Not cool, kid, not cool at all!

          • Kneekicker

You’re the real child here in these comments if you can’t even back yourself in discussions without resorting to insulting your opponent.

Helbindi is most certainly going to reappear; Fire Emblem has always adhered to the Law of Conservation of Detail, so he’s automatically an important figure solely by merit of possessing a unique design, voice, and backstory. Plus, FEH’s nature as a gacha game means Helbindi and the other Muspellians are likely to receive playable variations since they already possess the necessary prerequisites which would otherwise go to waste.

          • O.H. X-1990

Oh look, another good for nothing troll here to gloat over the fact that you summoned Gunnthrá easily where I failed! Well, I’m not listening to your gloating or your usual trolling!

Also, wrong again, these evil Muspellians aren’t worth being playable, they will all die, removed from the game, and you don’t have the balls to prove that they will be playable like the Brave version of evil princess Veronica! Helbindi is dead, his dying breath after this new chapter proves it all, he’ll be replaced by his sister in the next chapter! Anna said “one squad down”, and it so happens that Helbindi was part of the squad, meaning he’s officially dead! Good riddance to that pushover Helbindi. Top that, you gloating troll!

          • Kneekicker

There was literally not a single mention of Gunnthrá in my post, and I certainly didn’t have any ease with getting her like you suggest I did – a combined total of 280 orbs between the first three focuses she was in, and she ended up being -ATK +HP which is pretty bad.

You didn’t even provide any points to counteract me since you just repeated what you stated earlier in the comment thread. Barring Surtr and Loki, FEH drops frequent hints on the displeasure of the other major Muspellians under Surtr’s service, which in a typical FE game is usually indicative of defection. Laegjarn is shaping up to be a Camus archetype, but the chances of defection on the part of Laevatein and Helbindi isn’t unreasonable. Helbindi in particular is currently the most likely of the Muspellians to defect to Askr, since his primary motivation seems to be ensuring safety and quality of life for his sister, which Askr can provide.

Plus, Fire Emblem has played the old trick of a seemingly defeated person turning out to be alright on numerous occasions in the past. That’s further support for the case of Helbindi’s survival.

  • O.H. X-1990

To hell with this Banner, I refuse to get trolled any further!

    • Kneekicker

That’s your reaction on practically every new banner; please stop with the attention-whoring.

      • O.H. X-1990

Oh, that reminds me, I also refuse to listen to the gloating from you glory hogs who always succeeded into summoning those powerful Heroes the first time in every new Banner. You like it when this game trolls me with weaker Heroes? For shame, troll!

        • Shenai

Nobody but you cares if you summon those heroes or not.
Don’t want to know about other players succeeding? Don’t read comments.
Don’t want this game to continue “trolling” you? Just stop playing.

          • Sisyphe

Alternatively. Just ignore them. They’ll go away eventually

          • Shenai

Yeah I know, shouldn’t engage. But yesterday was just one of those days where I was tired of humankind’s less flattering attributes and I let the constant negativity get to me. And ignoring so far has done nothing. Unfortunately negative things or people don’t go away when you ignore them, most of the time. Unfortunately neither do they go away when you engage them, most of the time. Sometimes you just can’t win.

          • Sisyphe

Oh yeah, I’m sympathetic to that. To me, I just think it’s their goal to get a reaction out of people, so it’s worth trying to deny them that, or at least not letting them think that you care. But it’s frustrating for sure, as the Internet always lays bear our more disappointing traits

        • …Before today I haven’t pulled anything solid or good in like seven Banners, and I’M tired of hearing you. Just stop. Please.

  • ashlyn

I’m going for Ishtar, she’s beautiful!

  • Feel like I had some luck here. 155 orbs gave me Ares x2, Leen, Ishtar and a +Spd/-Def green Olwen. Can’t be too disappointed.

  • Morgan Rodgers

Got Ares for my free summon. Definitely want to get Ishtar.

  • The bad luck streak has ended at last – Ishtar on blind 3% after three failed Blue Orbs for the Alt. Account. I’m starting to wonder if perhaps I shouldn’t be making it my main account since the last several times my luck has gone upwards it’s always been on that account…

  • Lucas Moraes

Any ideas for a -SPD +DEF Ishtar?
