During today’s Cipher live-stream, the hosts showed off some new Fire Emblem merchandise for sale at the Fire Emblem Expo event on 4th May 2019.
In case you missed the memo, Fire Emblem Expo is an event for fans, taking place at Zepp Tokyo in Japan. It’s not Fire Emblem‘s version of E3 by a long shot; rather, it focuses on providing fun experiences–and that includes shopping!
Conveniently, Intelligent Systems will be taking pre-orders for most of the merchandise, so you don’t need to stress out on the day of the event. Pre-ordered merchandise can be picked up at the venue or delivered to your house. Pre-orders are open until 3rd March 2019.
Tickets for the event aren’t required for pre-ordering or ordering from the event venue. Essentially, the merchandise stalls are outside of the event itself. However, stock is limited–once pre-orders run out, it’s first-come-first-serve on the day of the event.
In addition, two brand new drama CDs were announced, focusing on Blazing Blade and Radiant Dawn. These will release prior to Fire Emblem Expo, on 17th April 2019, but will also be available from the expo. For more details, please scroll to the very end (or click here).

Similar to previous events, those who spend at least 1000 Yen in one go will receive an exclusive Lucina Cipher promo card. However, this is only applicable for items pre-ordered for delivery on 4th May 2019 (or bought from the event).

Trading Mini Can Badges – 400 Yen each (Expo exclusive!)
There are three sets available, each including 12 badge designs: Binding Blade, Blazing Blade and The Sacred Stones. The designs are based on the character’s chibi/mini portraits on the map. The badges are 31 mm in diameter.

Used for clipping little sheets of paper. There are 10 designs all from Radiant Dawn; each is double-sided. They measure 70 x 50 x 15 mm.

Magic Tome Pouch – 3,500 Yen each
Pouches designed in the shape of magic tomes, made from synthetic leather and polyester. There are two designs: Brynhildr (used by Leo from Fates) and Thoron (used by Robin from Awakening, among others).
The pouches measure 145 x 200 x 40 mm and should be able to fit most smartphones and schedulers. So that’s what it’s like to be a modern mage…
Awakening Avatar-style Big Towel with Hood – 7,500 Yen
A large microfibre and cotton towel, based on the design of the Avatar from Awakening. It measures 1300 x 600 x 10 mm.
Lanyard and Case – 1,800 Yen each
A Fire Emblem-themed card case that you can wear around your neck. The case and lanyard can be detached. The case measures 70 x 95 x 4 mm, while the lanyard is 20 x 900 mm.
There are multiple designs: Marth, Genealogy of the Holy War, Blazing Blade, The Sacred Stones, Black Knight, Awakening, Elise and Sakura (help, I need this) and Echoes.
Fire Emblem Expo Clutch Bag – 2000 Yen
A red denim bag that can fit A4 notes. Measures 347 x 347 x 30 mm.
Expo Cookies – 1,500 Yen
A box of cookies featuring map sprites of popular characters. There are 6 designs and you get 2 of each (I can see Marth, Sigurd, Roy, Lucina and I think Alfonse). Plus a sheet… of stickers? This isn’t exclusive to the Expo, but it can’t be pre-ordered for some reason (maybe because it’s food).
Fire Emblem Premium Arrange – 3,200 Yen
This is a soundtrack CD featuring songs played during the live concert at Fire Emblem Expo. It comes out on 20th March 2019. For more details, please check out this article we wrote earlier.
Blazing Blade Extra Drama CD: Inheritors of Roland – 1,800 Yen
This is a drama CD featuring the voices of Lyn, Eliwood and Hector, telling a story based on the events of Chapter 28: Valorous Roland. There are 9 tracks in total. It releases on 17th April 2019.
