As a reminder, the top 8 Heroes will participate in a special Voting Gauntlet later this month and the winner of the gauntlet will be gifted to all Summoners for free. Meanwhile, the top 4 from the gauntlet will also appear in a summoning banner.
Additionally, Version 5.2.0 of Fire Emblem Heroes is available to download. Most of the details were already shared via the 4th anniversary Feh Channel, but we’ll go over everything anyway.
At long last, you can customise your Summoner character–this can be done by going to the “Allies” menu, “Interact with Allies” and “My Summoner” along the bottom. You can choose from a variety of preset appearances and set your own name and greeting for visiting your friends.
Also, you can equip your Summoner with accessories you’ve already obtained; they can even wear accessories a Hero has equipped. On top of that, there are Summoner-exclusive accessories, indicated by (S) in the name.
Skill-wise, your Summoner can wield Dire Bredablik, which has the following stats/effects:
Mt 14, Range 2
Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res +4 to allies within 2 spaces during combat. Inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res -4 on foes within 2 spaces during combat. This skill can only be equipped by the original unit.
Furthermore, by choosing “Copy Skills”, you can borrow skills from any Hero (or combat manual) you have in possession. Sacred Seals can be copied in a similar manner–and your Summoner may equip the same Sacred Seal even if a Hero has it equipped.
Currently, your Summoner can only participate in the Mjolnir’s Strike game mode.
From 5th to 19th February 2021 (UTC), there will be limited-time Summoner Quests where you can earn 3 Summoner-exclusive accessories.
Speaking of Mjolnir’s Strike, you may noticed it looked slightly different during the last Feh Channel. The map is now 8 x 10 squares, with 4 rows for the top half of the map and 6 rows for the bottom half.
As mentioned, your Summoner can fight in this mode. They will be automatically added to your defensive team. Your Summoner can be assigned to any slot, except for the newly added Special slot.
Your Summoner cannot Pair Up with a Hero and they must be included in your team. They do not affect the enemy’s strength.
New slots have been added:
Atk +10 – Grants Atk +10. Units in this slot act in the bottom half of the map.
Special – Grants +3 to all stats. Units in this slot act in the bottom half of the map.
The Special slot can be unlocked by deploying a Mythic Hero of the current major season in your team. This must be a Hero who increases the number of slots in Aether Raids (eg. Reginn).
Only Mythic Heroes of the current major season or Heroes with that blessing can occupy a Special slot. The Mythic Hero who unlocks the Special slot can be deployed directly to the Special slot.
For example, if the major season is Astra, you can unlock the Special slot by deploying Reginn, who’s an Astra Mythic Hero that increases the number of slots in Aether Raids. You can place Reginn in any slot, including the Special slot. You may also place Astra-blessed Heroes in the Special slot.
New mechanisms have been added:
- Summoner Alfame Lv. 1-3
- Vital Summoner Lv. 1-3
- Ebon Summoner Lv. 1-3
- Shining Summoner Lv. 1-3
- Winged Summoner Lv. 1-3
- Cogent Summoner Lv. 1-3
These mechanisms all affect your Summoner in some way.
Lastly, the rewards have been adjusted.
- The amount of Dragonflowers given as tier rewards has been increased.
- You can also get Dragonflowers as rewards when your Askr Level is 30.
4-star Special Rate
A new rarity rate will be added to summoning banners added after this update. 5-star non-limited Heroes that were added before August 2018 can be summoned as 4-star special rate Heroes. If you summon such a Hero, they will initially appear as a 4-star, but be bumped up to 5-star before you receive them.
These Heroes will no longer appear in the 5-star category.
Additionally, Altena: Luminous Rider has been dropped from 5/4-star to 4/3-star.
New Skills for Legendary Heroes
