Those with a Japanese region 3DS and who pre-purchased the game earlier from the eShop can now unlock and play the game from the Home menu.
Otherwise if you want the physical version, you’ll probably have to wait until shops open in the morning. (Or if you pre-ordered it, wait until it’s delivered.)
Meanwhile, there’s still one more month before Echoes arrives in the West, although thankfully it’s a much shorter wait compared to earlier entries. Also, don’t forget there are Echoes-related events going on in Fire Emblem Heroes to bide the time.
Furthermore, 20th April marks the 27th anniversary of the Fire Emblem series in Japan. Here’s to a bright future for this much-loved series!
