As autumn approaches, so does the next series of Fire Emblem Cipher! For fans of the card game, it’s time to turn our attention to Series 11, which releases on 7 December.
Titled Glorious Twinstrike, this set finally introduces the last missing Fire Emblem world to Cipher: Magvel from The Sacred Stones. We also get some cards featuring characters from the recently-released Fire Emblem Warriors, as well as a return to Valentia with cards from Fire Emblem Echoes.
S11 was first announced a few months ago, and since then, we’ve gotten a fair amount of news and artwork for the set. Read on below for a look at everything we know so far, including some links to pre-order cards and sleeves for the set, and also information about the upcoming Autumn Livestream and when we can expect to see our first card reveals.
This past Saturday, the Fire Emblem Cipher team held another successful livestream over NicoNico! Ryota Kawade (Cipher Producer) and Young (Intelligent Systems) were joined once again by Eri Suzuki (voice of Soleil, Delthea, and Emma) to start off the show.
The main focus of the stream was to show off cards from Series 10, Crossroads, which releases this week on 21 September. The set contains cards from Thracia 776, Fates, and Fire Emblem Heroes. We also got to have some fun with a few other guests, and get a few more tidbits of news and art for upcoming Cipher sets and events.
This week, an official soundtrack for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia was announced! It includes five CDs packed in a three-sided digipack and a bunch of other goodies, too. Front and center on the digipack is some gorgeous new artwork of Alm and Celica by the Echoes official artist, Hidari.
The four audio CDs contain over five hours worth of music, including music only found in DLC, music from the original Gaiden, and the Fire Emblem Cipher main theme. The fifth CD is a Data CD containing .mp3 files for you to listen to digitally and an HD version of the title movie. Other perks include:
- A 24-page full colour booklet containing development tales from the games’ composers.
- Five postcards with artwork of Alm and Celica
- Stickers of various Echoes characters
- An Alm Cipher promotional card
The OST comes out on 25 October with an MSRP of ¥5,300. International pre-orders are currently up on CDJapan and Amazon Japan. A full track-list can be found below.
Another week has brought us another five days worth of daily Fire Emblem Cipher reveals from @FEcipher! This week’s reveals feature many R+ cards, such as this lovely joined-art of Shigure and Azura from Fates. These cards have different art than their regular Rs, which we haven’t yet seen.
Additional R+ reveals include an alternate art for Mareeta from Thracia 776, which you can see her along with her regular art R. The final R+ is a signed card for Bruno from Fire Emblem Heroes, shown here along with his Cost 1 N card.
Aside from R+ cards, our second Thracia SR this set makes an appearance, Finn! The final reveal of the week is an HN card for Soleil from Fates.
