The latest characters joining the game are Micaiah, Sothe, and Zelgius. Each comes equipped with a new weapon and at least one other new skill. You can see a full listing of all characters’ skills and abilities below.
The World of Dawn banner will go live tomorrow, 12 January, at 7:00am UTC. A new story chapter called “Guided by a Dream” will also come out then. We’ll also be seeing Oliver in the newest Grand Hero Battle! You’ll be able to challenge him starting on Sunday, January 14th.
Additionally, Update 2.1 is also live! The game will prompt you to download the new update when you load it up next.
Update 2.1 brings a few new things to the game including an increased Hero Merit cap, the ability to check maps before battle, new forges for Cymbeline and Parthia, a new type of Terrain in arena maps, and more! You can see a full listing of all updates at the bottom of the article.
Finally, Part 8 of the Heroes manga is now available! As always, thanks to Serenes Forest forum users Coolmanio and Linkmstr for the translation.
A new update is rolling out for Fire Emblem Heroes! Version 1.4.0 includes a bunch of quality of life updates and a resumption of the Special Log-Bonus of 2 daily Orbs!
The update will automatically go live tomorrow, 8 June, at 7:00am UTC. However, players already have the option to load the update manually via Google Play or the App Store. Daily Orbs will also begin tomorrow and last until 22 June.
The update notification also gives us a bit more insight into the upcoming Tempest Trials event which begins tomorrow. The last map of each Trial is considered a “Boss Stage” and will likely include a single, more powerful enemy. The Tempest Trials button and opening screen can already be seen in-game if you download the new update!
Read on below for a breakdown of all the changes we can look forward to with the new update!
A new series of special maps is now available in Fire Emblem Heroes! Five Defensive Battle maps can now be challenged in the “Special Maps” section. Each map is available on two difficulty levels and requires you to defend for a number of turns, or until all reinforcements have been killed, to win. Each win nets you an Orb for a total of up to ten Orbs!
Additionally, a new series of Quests for the special maps is also available. Titled “Defensive Battles”, the quests require you to beat each of the maps under certain conditions. You can earn Shards, Crystals, and even a couple more Orbs for completing these quests.
The deadline for beating the maps and completing the quests is 25 May at 7:59am UTC.
The new Arena rewards system also goes live today! The “Check Rewards” screen has been updated to show the new Tier rewards. This screen shows your current tier and the rewards you can aim for this season. Fight your best to earn up some Orbs and Feathers!
Still not enough? Starting tomorrow, the Ursula Grand Hero Battle is making a comeback! Like previous repeats, there will be special Quests so even those who beat both maps are encouraged to try again. Most likely these Quests will offer additional copies of Ursula.
A new update (1.3.0) is available for Fire Emblem Heroes! It includes some changes to the game, as well as information about the upcoming Voting Gauntlet and an event. Heroes will prompt you to download the update when you open the app.
The first thing you may notice upon logging into the game is a small pop-up featuring Feh, the owl, during loading. These little tips and tricks about the game will now display while loading Heroes.
Once the game has opened, you’ll see that the Hero Fest banners are gone, replaced with two new banners for the upcoming Mage Voting Gauntlet. The two banners feature the eight mages that will be competing in the Gauntlet. Spend your Orbs wisely to try and pull Julia, Linde, Tharja, Sanaki, Henry, Merric, Leo, or Robin!
The Gauntlet itself is scheduled to begin on Friday, 12 May. As previously noted, updates to the Gauntlet rules will give losing heroes a bit of an advantage. Hopefully this will result in more even battles between characters.
