Heroes: Tempest Trials Event, Summon Focus, Xenologue, and Daily Bonus!

The new Tempest Trials event is now live in Fire Emblem Heroes! In addition to the new battle mode, we also get some daily Orbs, a new Paralogue, some quests, and a new Summoning Focus.

When you first open the game, you’ll notice that the four +40% Bonus Allies are featured in a new Summoning Focus, also called “Tempest Trials”. Summon a 5★ version of Tharja, Male Robin, Nowi, or Lucina to help you earn more points during the event!

If you need more Orbs to help you summon those characters, Heroes is willing to help you out. Starting today, all players will get a Special Log-In Bonus of two Orbs! There’s also a new Paralogue entitled Xenologue 2: The Brink Of Chaos that explains the in-universe story of the event. Clear the paralogue on each difficulty to earn nine more Orbs.

The new event, quests, summon focus, and daily Orbs will be available through 22 June. Read on below for a deeper look at the Tempest Trials…

Tempest Trial Introduction

Tap on the new Tempest Trials button in the upper left of the Battle screen to begin the event. You’ll be greeted with an opening story featuring everyone’s favourite masked time traveler, then brought to the opening page.

Check Rewards to see all the various prizes available, or tap on Select Stage to jump right in! There are a total of five different Trials: 1 Normal, 2 Hard, and 2 Lunatic. Each Trial requires 20 Stamina.

Tapping on a particular Trial shows you a a range of how many points you can hope to win by playing that Trial. The Normal mode Trials offers only up to 54 points for a successful clear, but you can earn almost ten times that many, up to 504 points, by clearing the top-most Lunatic Trial. These point totals do not include the Bonus Ally multiplier.

All maps except the final map in each Trial include randomized enemies and maps. When you move onto the next map, the state of your heroes remains the same, including current HP and special move countdowns.

The final map always features Veronica as a boss and uses a new map based on Chapter 23 from Awakening.

Once you’ve completed your Trial, a screen will pop up and show you your point total. If you’ve won any rewards, you will get another pop up and the items will be automatically added into your inventory.

Tempest Trials Rewards

Speaking of rewards, there are a lot of them! You can earn up to 33 Orbs and 3,500 Hero Feathers, as well as a bunch of Crystals. The star prizes are 4★ and 5★ versions of Marth: Enigmatic Blade, which you can earn at 6,000 and 30,000 points. You can also win new Sacred Seals at 20,000 (Breath of Life 1) and 50,000 (Quickened Pulse).

You can also earn additional rewards based on how many points you score compared to other players. There are nine total tiers and they can award you anywhere from 500 to 10,000 Hero Feathers!

If these rewards aren’t enough for you, you can also earn some additional prizes with the new Tempest Trials quests! Complete all three quests by playing lots of Trials to earn yourself some useful Universal Shards and Crystals.
