Heroes: August 2021 Feh Channel announces upcoming rewards, Pirate Event Heroes, and new Heroes Journey mini-mode

It’s August, which means that we’re getting one of the bigger Feh Channels of the year!

Feh’s Summer Celebration was announced first, sharing a slurry of celebratory gifts that will be coming as early as tomorrow.

Heroes: Mythic Trailer reveals new character in Jugdral’s Ullr, coming July 29

This one threw me through a loop for sure; we knew a Mythic was coming, but a character from Jugdral was not something I could’ve predicted. Enter Ullr: The Bowmaster, a Blue Bow Infantry, a Light blessed unit [Spd], and our next Mythic unit.

She comes packaged with some pretty desirable skills if you’re simply interested in summoning her for some inheritance, but her PRF Weapon Holy Yewfelle and B-Skill Yngvi Ascendant (an improved Soul of Zofia) give her a good chunk of power.

As per usual, this Mythic banner will drop with an 8% summoning rate on a specific set of 12 units, including our new Mythic. The batch this time includes

Community Spotlight: Fódlan Cuizine, coming soon [Preorders up now until August 2]

I’ve been graced with another truly unique fan project this time, and I’d be remiss to let it slide by unnoticed by the masses. Today, we’re taking a look at the Fódlan Cuizine project, a zine with more than just its print, that celebrates the food lover’s experience of the Three Houses installment. This project is led by Pear, and includes efforts from over 50 talented artists across the Fire Emblem fanbase. What’s special about this zine, you ask? Why, it’d not only be the stickers, acrylic charms, washi tape and memo pad, but also the tea towels, ceramic coasters and recipe cards.

Inspired by the everlasting bonds deepened through the sharing of teatime and meals at Garreg Mach Monastery, Fódlan Cuizine is a safe for work fanzine and cookbook celebrating the food, friendships, and families of Fódlan. Spanning 120 plus pages of original content produced by over 50 contributors, the zine includes 8 stories, 30+ pieces of artwork, and 40+ original, tested recipes along with exclusive merchandise items. Six tiers of book and merch bundles can be found on the zine’s Big Cartel.

The theme of Fódlan Cuizine is warmth and community. The zine highlights the various relationships in Fire Emblem Three Houses, raising a toast (or two!) to family, friendship, and everlasting bonds.

Preorders for Fódlan Cuizine are available from now until August 2, with expectations to ship around October of this year, and can be processed through their official web site (linked above). These bundles are available to ship out of the US, where everything is being produced. All proceeds from the sale of the zine will be donated to the charity Action Against Hunger, an international organization that works to treat and prevent malnutrition in 45+ countries.

Community Spotlight: Fire Emblem Fan-zine Allure Project, coming soon [Preorders up now until June 30]

It’s always great to see the Fire Emblem art community show off their immense talents, and this time is no different, with a passion project touching on a subject I never even thought possible, aroma. Enter the Fire Emblem Allure III Zine, a project by Enmoire, Lunacerra, and Sitraxis.

This is a charity project, aimed to support the Rainforest Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization devoted to support indigenous and traditional peoples of the world’s rainforests in their efforts to protect their environment and fulfill their rights by assisting them in securing and controlling the natural resources necessary for their long term well being and managing these resources in ways which do not harm their environment, violate their culture or compromise their future; and​
developing the means to protect their individual and collective rights and to obtain, shape and control basic services from the state.

What would be a scent associated with Celica? What would an advertisement look like for this? The bottle?

These were the questions asked, and I’ll be darned if I wasn’t thinking about it while putting this article together. As for the project itself, again, this in the third of its series is a fan-zine featuring an aromatic theme, centered on the idea of fragrances suited for the Fire Emblem cast. Enmoire and her team did a wonderful job fulfilling the aesthetic of this project, bringing to life many quality pieces, and even creating something tangible in the charms, washi tape and especially the toiletries bag, something I’ve never seen before produced out of the FE fanart community.

The team includes other members that have shown great success assisting with the EmblemCon event, so I not only trust the creators but also the team that makes up this fabulous zine. That said, if you are as interested as I am, and want to visit your nearest Item Vendor to get your hands on this tome and its accessories, look no further than their online shop, which features past issues I and II as well as the current volume III and its many bundles. Orders are up only until June 30 (with shipping expected in August), however, so do consider acting fast to lay your hands on a goodie out of this batch.
