Genei Ibun Roku #FE: More on Unity and Class-Change

This week’s Famitsu included another feature on Genei Ibun Roku #FE, this time explaining the various methods of enhancing your characters.

If you’ve been following the game recently, you may recall that last week’s Japanese Nintendo Direct briefly touched on these methods; fortunately, Famitsu has a lot more space to go into detail.

To start with, players can visit the “Bloom Palace“, a serene area managed by Tiki, the hugely popular face of the “Singaloid Tiki” software.

Conveniently, the entrance to the Bloom Palace is located past an ordinary-looking door within Fortuna Entertainment, where Itsuki and his friends work.

Genei Ibun Roku #FE: Mastering Your Mirage

During their version of the November Nintendo Direct, Nintendo of Japan provided another brief look at Genei Ibun Roku #FE.

Perhaps worried that everyone had forgotten about the game, the trailer spent a lot of time introducing the game as a modern day RPG that blends in elements from the Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem games.

Towards the latter half, however, there were some new nuggets of information related to the heroes’ otherworldly partners–the Mirages.

Cipher Autumn Livestream: Series 3, 4 and 5 samples

As usual, before an upcoming release, the Fire Emblem Cipher team held another Nicovideo livestream event–their fifth one–on 7th November.

Earlier, Hardin kindly posted all the key information and card previews on our forums; in this article, I’ll be providing a full recap of the event for reference purposes.

The first piece of news is a reminder that Series 3 “Twin Blades Towards Hope” releases on 10th December, a mere month away. This series features cards from Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem Fates Invisible Kingdom (the third campaign).

Those who purchase a Series 3 booster box (containing 16 booster packs) will receive a Series 4 promotional card (2 types) and 5 limited edition sleeves (2 types).

Genei Ibun Roku #FE Side Stories and Side Characters

Just a little bit of catch up. Last week’s Famitsu feature on Genei Ibun Roku #FE didn’t provide any ground-breaking new details, but there were many interesting morsels to digest.

Like many other RPGs, the game is divided into the main story and side stories.

In the main story, the world is attacked by Mirages–beings from another world known as the Idolasphere. Itsuki and his friends–“Mirage Masters” from the same entertainment company–join forces with friendly Mirages to repel the Idolasphere’s mysterious invasion.

Meanwhile, the side stories focus on Itsuki’s friends and their daily lives as entertainers. Each has their own struggles and dreams and it’s up to Itsuki to help them out. As they improve as entertainers and enhance their “Performa”, their ability in battle will increase.
