Heroes: A Splendid Soiree Trailer Dropped, Incoming Dancers September 6

Japanese Trailer can be viewed here.

The batch features four Dancer units, much like last year’s event. This time around, we have focus on units from games not found on the Game Boy Advance or Switch, but the Gamecube and SNES, with a second alts of Reinhardt and Berkut, first alts of Nephenee and Ishtar, and grand arrival of Rinea, a very popular unit in the fanbase.

One personal thing I love, is the reference to Nephenee using a bow in this event, back to her dialogue from Path of Radiance. Thanks, /u/Eirikafeh from Reddit, for posting up the screenshot that I totally wasn’t able to quickly grab!

There will of course be a Paralogue series to go along with the event, granting Orbs via completion of map and also Lunatic quest completion. There is also an announced Tempest Trials+ event coming up, kicking off soon. The free unit this time around, as a Tempest Trials+ reward unit, is Berkut’s lovely lady, Rinea: Reminiscent Belle. The banner itself runs from September 6 until October 7.

Additionally, a new series of Armored Strike quests is now available! Complete various challenges using Armored units to earn Dragonflowers and other rewards. You can see full details in game.

Heroes: Heroic Feats 2 Complete, Heroic Feats 3 On Deck

If you were supporting the second Heroic Feats event (in which if all Summoners deployed magic users 30 million times cumulatively over a period of time), then you’ll be happy to know that the condition was met, and as such, will result in all Summoners receiving a free 4 Berkut: Prideful Prince. With roughly 38 million deployments, the challenge was met with relative ease.

These appear to be quick to run mini-events, in which we’ll be seeing more of over the near future. In particular, the next Heroic Feats will feature the cumulative deployment of Infantry-type Heroes 60 million times during the duration of the event, in order to secure a free 4 Marisa: Crimson Flash.

Both Berkut’s distribution and Marisa’s Heroic Feats 3 will kick off in just a few hours, so prepare thy teams, Summoners!

Heroes: Incoming Berkut and New Arena Bonus Units

FE_HeroesJP just tweeted out confirmation on the next Grand Hero Battle for Berkut, which will begin starting tomorrow, July 18, and presumably running for about a week as is the standard we’ve been seeing for GHBs. This map will feature Berkut and his allies, fighting your team. What’s to note is the atypical unit placement for your allies, making first turn buffing a bit of a challenge.

Berkut himself is armed with the A skill Water Boost 3 and his personal Lance, both of which grant situational bonuses to the Resistance stat.

Water Boost 3: If unit has at least 3 more HP than enemy at the start of combat, unit receives Res+6 during combat.

Berkut’s Lance: 14 MT, 1 Rng, Grants Res+4 when the unit is under attack.

He’ll also boast the Ward Cavalry C skill (as currently seen on Eliwood) which grants Def/Res+4 to Cavalry combat stats within two spaces similar to Spur skills, and also possesses the Special skill Blazing Flame, (as currently seen on Jeorge), which hits two tiles to the left and right of the target for 1.5x (unit’s Atk minus foe’s Def or Res). Lastly, there will be an Infernal difficulty available, likely matching the previous Infernal challenges, offering a 4-star reward with a Hero Feather bonus.

Additionally, the new Arena season bonus units are announced. We’ll see the six units from the recent banners (Delthea, Mathilda, Gray, Saber, Sonya and Leon), as well as Grand Hero Battle unit Clarisse, VirionCecilia and Askrian Sharena.
