FE Warriors Three Hopes: Next Famitsu Includes Art Card & Developer Interview

The official release of Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes is almost upon us!

Not to be outdone by Nintendo Dream, the upcoming 7th July issue of Famitsu, which releases on 23rd June 2022 (mere hours from this post) also has a massive blow-out feature.

There will be 28 pages of gameplay info, helpful tips for the earlygame, how to use characters etc. plus an interview with Nintendo’s Genki Yokota, Intelligent System’s Toshiyuki Kusakihara and Koei Tecmo’s Yosuke Hayashi + Hayato Iwata.

On top of that, there’s a bonus B5 size (slightly bigger than A5) art card that has Famitsu’s unique cover (a counterpart to Nintendo Dream’s with the opposite gender Shez and Byleth) on one side and the game’s main visual on the other.

FE Warriors Three Hopes: Next Nintendo Dream Comes with Poster & Dev Interview

Less than a week remains until the launch of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes! Today, we have a quick PSA for collectors.

The next issue of Nintendo Dream, the August 2022 issue, has a big feature on Three Hopes, evident by the front cover. According to the description, the editorial team will recap all the information known up to now, while also providing their thoughts from playing the game.

Besides this, there will be an interview with the Koei Tecmo staff, which includes Hideo Suzuki (development producer), Yosuke Hayashi (producer) and Hayato Iwata (director).

The previous Nintendo Dream interview with the Three Houses team revealed many interesting tidbits such as Claude’s real name, which eventually made its way into Three Hopes. So it’ll be fun to see what they’ve got to share this time.

Last but not least, the issue comes with 2 double-sided posters: one for Three Hopes and another for Splatoon 3. Shown above is the Three Hopes poster.

The August issue releases on 21st June 2022, slightly ahead of the game’s launch. You can pre-order/order it from Amazon Japan or you could check your favourite import store.

Billy Kametz, the Voice Actor for Ferdinand from Three Houses, has Passed Away

On 9th June 2022, Billy Kametz who voiced the iconic Ferdinand von Aegir among other roles, sadly passed away at the age of 35. Earlier in the year, Billy revealed that he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.

The news of his passing was shared by Point of Contact Booking, a convention agency that he was a client for. You can view Billy’s obiturary here.

Since the news was shared, there has been a massive outpouring of love from colleagues and fans alike on social media.

Fans also raised well over $150,000 for Billy’s GoFundMe, which is still accepting donations until 14th June. Leftover donations will go towards his celebration of life and funeral.

FE Warriors: Three Hopes, which releases on 24th June 2022, is potentially the last time we’ll hear from Billy, as he reprises Ferdinand.

It’s clear that Billy was an exceptional and beloved man–and a massive shame that his life was cut short. May he rest in peace.
