Now that Fire Emblem Cipher’s 4th series Shimmering Illusions has finally released in Japan, we can take a look at the set’s full contents. Combining cards from 3 different Fire Emblem games, there are plenty of goodies in store for both players and collectors.

Before that though, the Cipher team held another pre-release live stream to hype the new Series 4 cards and indulge us with the latest and hottest Cipher updates.

The event opened with our hosts showing the contents of a Series 4 booster box. Like recent boxes, the Series 4 box includes one of two promotional cards (Roy or Micaiah) and one of two exclusive sleeves (Mystery of the Emblem or Awakening).

The event opened with news regarding the upcoming Series 4, which very roughly translates “Shimmering Illusions” and features cards from Mystery of the Emblem, Awakening and Genei Ibun Roku #FE.
Like the previous two expansions, those who purchase a Series 4 booster box will receive a pack of exclusive sleeves, from two possible designs.
As usual, before an upcoming release, the Fire Emblem Cipher team held another Nicovideo livestream event–their fifth one–on 7th November.

The first piece of news is a reminder that Series 3 “Twin Blades Towards Hope” releases on 10th December, a mere month away. This series features cards from Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem Fates Invisible Kingdom (the third campaign).
Those who purchase a Series 3 booster box (containing 16 booster packs) will receive a Series 4 promotional card (2 types) and 5 limited edition sleeves (2 types).
