Heroes: Fallen Heroes come in the new Forces of Will Banner, starting May 7

It’s been an expectation since shortly after the release of Fire Emblem Three Houses, but now it’s finally upon us; the Forces of Will Fallen Heroes banner brings Edelgard and Dimitri into the fray, as well as both male and female Morgans from the Fire Emblem Awakening series (specifically, the DLC).

This banner boasts not only powerful-looking units, but powerful skills on those units. Among these skills includes the return of Armored Stride 3, Dive-Bomb 3 and Odd Tempest 3, as well as the new and presumably inheritable C -Menace skills, which appear to be a hard buff+debuff variant to the -Rein skills ‘in combat’ style of debuff.

Additionally, there is a new Tier 4 A skill in the -Ideal line, which applies combat buffs based on HP being full, [Bonus] being present on unit, or if both conditions are met, the buffs provided by each check. Furthermore, both Dimitri and Edelgard come with mighty PRF B-skills in Murderous Lion and Armored Wall, respectively, with Murderous Lion being effectively a Canto +1 & Firesweep Solo skill for an infantry unit, and an improved Special Fighter skill packaged with a Dark Creator Sword and Sol Lance effect (in a once-per-turn 40% damage reduction and a 7 HP after combat effect). I won’t even get started on any of their weapons, all of which include hefty descriptions that you can see below in full detail.

To keep the news rolling, the upcoming reward unit will be Orson, from Fire Emblem Sacred Stones. If you’re unfamiliar, he’s been seen in game as a cavalry unit, wielding either a Silver Lance or a Runesword, so commence speculation. W should also be noted is not only the one time Spark on the 40th summon, but also the Celestial Stone item, which is earned after 40 summons, and can be exchanged for valuable resources including the illustrious Forma Soul (equivalent for one free unit from the Forma Halls events).

Dimitri, Edelgard and the Morgans will be available for summoning starting on May 7 at 12a PT, following the next Version Update.

Heroes: Blazing Blade Returns in “Bond of Trust”!

It feels like ages, but more characters from Blazing Blade will make their proper debut in the next Fire Emblem Heroes summoning event.

“Bond of Trust” will begin on 6th April 2021 (UTC).

Note: You can check out the Japanese version of this trailer here.

The New Heroes are Farina, Louise, Erk and Pent. With Farina’s introduction, the Blazing Blade pegasus sisters (which include Florina and Fiora) will be complete. Likewise, Erk’s arrival wraps up the Reglay household.

Additionally, Sonia: Inhuman Beauty will be the next Grand Hero Battle. Hmm, we’re one more step closer to Denning Nergal.

Furthermore, this will be the first summoning event where you can obtain a Celestial Stone, as detailed in the Version 5.4.0 patch notes. To recap, one stone will be gifted for each guaranteed Hero after 40 summons (usually limited to one per “New Heroes” summoning event).

Please continue for a breakdown of the new Heroes!

Heroes: Details for Version 5.4.0, Arriving 4th April 2021 (UTC)

Despite the potential of being mistaken for an April Fool’s joke, Feh has decided to share details of the next Fire Emblem Heroes update, Version 5.4.0, scheduled for 4th April 2021, around 11 pm (UTC).

New Item: Celestial Stone

When players receive their guaranteed Hero after performing 40 summons in a “New Heroes” banner, they will be gifted one Celestial Stone. In general, one stone can be obtained per banner, but if the banner allows multiple guaranteed Heroes, multiple stones can be obtained.

Celestial Stones can be exchanged for items such as Forma Souls, Trait Fruits and Dragonflowers. The amount of stones to purchase an item varies. Also, each item has an exchange limit; this limit will be reset around every half year.

Of note, it seems you can buy one Forma Soul using 3 stones. Which is a great way to earn them without spending money, so long as you’re patient and are able to save Orbs.

Weapon Refinery

Observant Summoners may have noticed during the re-run of Love Abounds, there was a note that Valentine’s Hector will be appearing in another banner soon.

With Halloween Nowi recently receiving a refine, some Summoners wondered if Hector would be receiving a refine and thus appear in a New Power banner. Well, guess what?

  • Marisa: Shamsir (and refine options)
  • Sumia: Flower Lance (and refine options)
  • Morgan (M): Refine options for Grima’s Truth
  • Quan: Refine options for Gáe Bolg
  • Valentine’s Hector: Refine options for Berserk Armads
