We hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday, Easter or otherwise! Anyway, it’s that time again, where we outline the upcoming schedule for the rotating characters and songs on the Japanese Fire Emblem World website.
Last month, we covered the schedule from 18th March to 21st April 2019. Up to this point, every released mainline game has been featured except for New Mystery of the Emblem. Which means two things: New Mystery and the beginning of repeats.
22nd – 28th April: New Mystery of the Emblem
: Young Light
To nobody’s surprise, New Mystery is the next game to bask in the spotlight. The characters are a predictable bunch since there are only a dozen or so official artworks for the game. This time, Marth is missing in action and his “shadow” leads the roster instead.
Funnily, Sirius’s image file is labelled as “Camus”, even though there’s no real reason for it. Say, unlike Nagi, who is internally known as “Naga” in the games. Read more
Recently, the official Japanese Fire Emblem Twitter posted about another batch of Fire Emblem merchandise, this time releasing during December 2018.
The merchandise in question is published directly by Intelligent Systems, similar to the merchandise from April and May. Below, you can find all the details in English!
Pin Badges – 600 Yen each (excl. tax)
These are highly collectible badges (75 mm in diameter) that you can wear to show off your love for a character. This time, there are new designs for Marth and Caeda, the OG hero and heroine.
During 22nd September 2018, Fire Emblem Cipher held a pre-release livestream on NicoNico and YouTube to hype up the impending release of Series 14 “Eyegazing Future”.
If you missed the livestream and are interested in watching it, it’s now available for viewing via timeshift on NicoNico or directly on YouTube. For your convenience, you can find a recap of all the important news below!
Series 14 Booster Series
The main focus of this livestream was naturally on Series 14, which launches very soon on 28th September 2018 in Japan. As we learned earlier, this series features characters from the Tellius games, Awakening, Fates (Birthright) and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.
On the Tellius front, we got new unpromoted cards for Marcia and Oscar. In particular, Oscar looks pretty relaxed in his casual wear.
Next, time for the healers to shine, with cards for Radiant Dawn Cleric Mist and both unpromoted and promoted versions of Rhys.
New Mystery of the Emblem has arrived in Fire Emblem Heroes! Echoes of Mystery contains a new Summoning Focus as well as a new set of Paralogue Maps and associated quests. Check out our earlier article for the character introduction trailer!
The Summoning Focus contains four new 5★ characters: Katarina, Roderick, Athena, and Luke. Roderick (“Rody” in the fan translation) and Luke originated in Mystery of the Emblem, whereas Athena and Katarina are remake-exclusive characters. Athena also appeared as a special side-story character in Shadow Dragon.
The Echoes of Mystery paralogue contains three new maps. Play each map on all three difficulties for up to nine Orbs! Playing the maps on Lunatic under certain conditions will net you an additional three Orbs. Quest details can be found below.
The paralogue maps also give us a look at some of New Mystery‘s villains: Legion (“Roro”) and Clarisse (“Kleine”). Both appear as enemies in the maps, and may soon be available in future Great Hero Battles as well.
The new banner and quests will be around for a little over two weeks until 30 June at 6:59am UTC.
Additionally, rewards have been given out for the Tempest Trials Kick-Off Event! Heroes players more than doubled the the 1-billion point goal, and as a result, all players get a bonus present of 10 Orbs and 5,000 Hero Feathers. Visit Feh to collect your rewards.
