Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Fortissimo Edition Hits NA & EU

That’s right folks. Confirmations from Nintendo’s international Twitter accounts state that the Special “Fortissimo” Edition of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE will be available for both North American regions and European regions on June 24, 2016.

Making of Path of Radiance

Today marks the 26th anniversary of the Fire Emblem series, as well as the 11th anniversary of Path of Radiance (and yesterday was Awakening‘s anniversary).

To celebrate the occasion, here’s the next part of our “Making Of” series, featuring development materials and secrets from the Making of Fire Emblem book, in collaboration with Kantopia‘s very own Kirokan.

Naturally, we’ll be turning our attention to Path of Radiance, since it’s the birthday boy and because we already covered the first game earlier.

At the time of release, Path of Radiance was an ambitious title, being one of Intelligent System’s first forays into 3D game development and the first home console Fire Emblem since Kaga’s departure.

Cipher: Series 5 Pre-Orders & Promos

We’re getting closer to the release date for Cipher Series 5 and a few more details and images about the set have been revealed through the official Cipher website and Japanese online retailer AmiAmi.

Like the last few releases, Series 5 booster boxes include some promotional items such as a preview promo card for Series 6 and a pack of 5 card sleeves.

The promo cards have not been revealed yet, but the sleeves feature designs based on the box art of the games featured: Binding Blade and Radiant Dawn. Both the promo card and sleeves are inserted at random, from two possibilities.

Cipher: Series 4 Guidebook & Itsuki Promo Card

Images from the 4th edition of the official Fire Emblem Cipher Guidebook have now been revealed. The guidebook is a useful reference for Cipher players, containing the latest ruling information as well as card lists and other resources.

It also comes with 2 copies of a special promo card featuring Itsuki Aoi from Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. The card is number P04-011PR, and is the last known promo card for Series 4.

Pre-orders for the guidebook are still available on Amazon Japan, with an expected release date of April 22nd. Previous guidebooks sold out pretty quick, so don’t leave it too long!
