Echoes: New English Footage

Some English-voiced versions of Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia have made their way to a select few, and some of those select few have been kind enough to post videos of their adventures through the game.

NintenDann takes us through the first portions of the game, showing us English-translated and English-voiced gameplay for some of the first battles in the game, as well as exploration through the game’s first dungeon.

Blind players beware, however, as plenty of early game spoilers exist beyond this line.

Heroes: World of Radiance Summons, Story Maps, & Quests!

The long-awaited Tellius update to Fire Emblem Heroes is finally live! The new World of Radiance banner allows players to summon 5★ of Ike, Mist, Soren, and Titania. Check out their weapons and skill in the video in our previous article.

As usual, the game has also been updated to include new quests and maps featuring the new characters. This time around, however, the maps are are actually a part of the main quest line and are featured in the “Main Story” section, not as a paralogue. This also means that there are five new maps instead of only three.

The new maps are interesting for another reason as well. Reinforcement maps, originally promised as part of the April Update, have now arrived! You’ll have to face waves of enemies for a certain amount of turns to win. The final map also features an additional condition, wherein you must beat it in a certain amount of time.

Lastly, a new mission for the story mode maps is also live. Each quest requires you to complete one of the maps on Lunatic with conditions. You can earn up to five Orbs by completing each of them!

The Banner and Quests will be active until 15 May, at 7:59am UTC.

Heroes: Ike Finally Arrives!

You heard me right, Summoners. FE_Heroes_JP just tweeted (and Nintendo just posted to their YouTube channel), coverage announcing the arrival of some Tellius favorites from Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Ike, Mist, Soren and Titania, in the World of Radiance paralogue. Check out the Japanese trailer here.

When will this arrive? Oh, no sooner than tomorrow!

Ike, voiced by Greg Chun (rather than his typical Jason Adkins), is seen boasting his 1~2 range Ragnell and covetted Aether, as well as a new skill, Heavy Blade. Not to be ignored, the other 3 come bearing some unique skills of their own, not yet seen in Fire Emblem Heroes for Mist (Sarah Williams), Soren (Kyle McCarley) and Titania (Misty Lee); Spur Def/Res +3, Watersweep and Guard, respectively).

Heroes: Grand Heroes Battle Revivals Live + New Quests!

Grand Hero Battles for Female Robin and Navarre have returned for a limited time in Fire Emblem Heroes! If you missed getting one or both versions of these heroes previously, now is a great time to pick them up.

Even if you already earned Robin and Navarre, the update comes with some quests relating to these battles. Entitled “Grand Hero Battles”, these new missions can earn you additional copies of both Heroes. You can also earn up for four Orbs!

Both the Grand Hero Battles and the associated quests will be around through 2 May at 7:59am UTC.

Additionally, another series of quests entitled “Helping Hand” is now available. Like the original Helping Hand quests, completing these quests earns you a large number of Universal Shards. You have until 5 May to complete these quests.
