Fire Emblem Hundred Song of Heroes Card Images

Thanks to Maeryn Sen, you can now appreciate the exclusive artwork from the Fire Emblem Hundred Song of Heroes card set without spending a dime (or getting hit by crazy import charges…).

To begin your artwork appreciating adventure, please head over to our image gallery or grab them straight from the source. (Note: I’ve kindly been granted permission to re-upload the images.)

Some things I should mention:

  1. Not all the artwork is exclusive (sorry, I lied); a few characters use their Awakening DLC artwork.
  2. Some of the artwork might not be to everyone’s tastes. You have been warned!
  3. If you want your own card set, you can still order it from Otomart or Gee!Store. But if you’re ordering from outside of Japan, you may need a middleman service.

Fire Emblem 25th Anniversary Concert Report

On 24th and 25th July 2015, Nintendo held a Fire Emblem 25th Anniversary concert event, dubbed “25th Anniversary of Love and Courage: Fire Emblem Festival”, at Tokyo Dome City Hall.

While I didn’t attend the event myself, many fans and members of the press did and, so, I’ve collected their impressions in this (lengthy) post.

Before beginning, I should mention that it’s prohibited to take pictures (or recordings) within the concert itself, so that’s the reason you won’t find any (or many) here.

But anything beforehand is fair game, it seems. Speaking of which, the entrance itself is rather spectacular, featuring life-size replicas of Marth and Chrom’s Falchion and Fire Emblems.

I already made a post with pictures of those, if you’re interested and missed it. Apparently, the replicas were crafted by Hato Ken, a famous weapon designer.

Azura’s Necklace and Hundred Songs of Heroes Available Online (Japan-only)

A heads up for those who wanted to purchase merchandise from the 25th Anniversary Concert this weekend, but could not attend (or find somebody attending to help).

The two most valuable items–Azura’s necklace and the Hundred Song of Heroes–can now be ordered online via Otomart. During August, they can be ordered from Gee!store as well.

If you’re interested and have the funds to spare, don’t hesitate too long, as these items have been produced in limited numbers–the necklace in particular is limited to 700, many of which were already sold at the concert.

But be warned that these websites only ship to addresses in Japan. So if you don’t live in Japan (or have any friends or relatives there), you will need to seek a middleman (or friend) to assist you.

As for myself, I should have secured one of each item from the concert venue. Now, if only there was a Golden Gaffe DLC for real life…

Rumour: Fire Emblem Fates Manga Coming Fall 2015

I’m not one to report rumours often, but this one seems credible enough.

According to multiple fans who were present at the 25th Anniversary Concert, Nintendo announced a Fire Emblem Fates manga, to be serialised in Young Magazine starting this Fall (in Japan). (Source: Hachime)

If the reports are true, Yusuke Kozaki (the artist of Awakening and Fates) will be providing the illustrations, while Shin Kibayashi (the story director for Fates) is penning the story.

Update: Famitsu has added a brief report about this news. Besides what we already knew, an image of a sword-wielder overlooking a sunset was teased at the concert.
