Fire Emblem Engage: Emblem Corrin Analysis

Another week, another Fire Emblem Engage info dump from the official Fire Emblem Twitter!

We’ll start with the Corrin-related info first, beginning with her profile!

Emblem Corrin (VA: Satomi Satō), known as the Emblem of Fates, possesses the blood of the First Dragons and an unbreakable heart.

Next, a video featuring some dialogue with her:

This was already available via the official website.

The next video, showcasing her abilities, is mostly new though.

Corrin is a support-focused Emblem that can use buffs and debuffs to turn the tides of battle.

Dragon Vein is a Sync skill (available by equipping Corrin) that adds special effects to the terrain. The effect depends on the unit’s battle type.

Here, Bonet is showing it off. He’s a Level 2 Great Knight with a Silver Sword and other swords in his inventory.

This scene was shown in the Topics article, which we covered here.

Fire Emblem Engage: Emblem Byleth Analysis

To round off the week, the official Fire Emblem Twitter shared an overview video detailing Emblem Byleth’s abilities.

Time for another mini Fire Emblem Engage analysis!

Before that though, let’s warm up with some info on Emblem Energy and chests.

There are spots on the map where “Emblem Energy” has gathered. If a character synced with an Emblem ends their action where there’s Emblem Energy, their Engage count will be fully replenished. If you want to Engage a character, be sure to place them on an Emblem Energy.

Chests contain items inside them, which can be obtained by using the “Chest” command when adjacent to them. If the chest’s contents have been stolen by an enemy, you can get them back by defeating that enemy before they make their escape.

Also, a profile for the man himself:

Emblem Byleth (Yūsuke Kobayashi), known as the Emblem of the Academy, is a former mercenary, now instructor at the Officer’s Academy.

Plus a video featuring him and Alcryst, which you can find translated over here.

Finally, the overview video itself!

Above is the video re-uploaded on YouTube as is.

Here’s an overview on how to use Byleth, the Emblem of the Academy. He can increase the abilities of allies, to guide them towards victory. Rather than acting alone, he’s an Emblem who’s most effective when surrounded by allies.

Fire Emblem Engage: Emblem Celica Analysis

The Japanese official Fire Emblem Twitter is showing no signs of stopping! Today’s Fire Emblem Engage content is mostly about Emblem Celica.

Before that though, here’s a little warm up:

This cutscene shows the moment Alear first runs into the Corrupted. You’ve probably seen bits of it during the debut trailer, etc. This scene may lead up to this map, where Alear and Vander are separated from Clanne and Framme.

Next, some info about the Mystical class type:

Mystical classes can ignore Avoid bonuses from terrain (such as Avoid +30 from Thicket) when casting magic.

Oddly, the example on the right side of the right screenshot depicts Lumera as a unit on the map. I see trees in the background. Does she appear as a reinforcement in the Prologue map, perhaps? Also, is she holding a sword or a staff?

Now, onto the main course:

This video goes over some of Emblem Celica’s abilities. Again, I’ve re-uploaded the video as is, without subtitles. But I’ll go over everything that’s mentioned.

Emblem Celica excels at magical attacks and fighting corrupted-type foes. Since her focus is on magical attacks, she’s an Emblem who’s well suited for units with a Mystical type.

Fire Emblem Engage: Emblem Sigurd Analysis

Yesterday, the official Fire Emblem JP Twitter shared an overview video for Emblem Sigurd, similar to the Emblem Marth one.

Above is the video re-hosted on YouTube, as is.

I’m a bit busy to subtitle the video myself, but I’ll go over what they explained.

Emblem Sigurd specialises in boosting Movement.

Canter is a Sync skill (can be used by equipping Sigurd) that lets the user use up leftover movement after performing an attack.

Here, Chloé is using it. This appears to be the same night-time map where she was fighting in the debut trailer and also in Celine’s showcase.

Currently, she’s a Level 7 Lance Pegasus with a Javelin. The allies on the map are ones you’d expect: Vander, Céline, Louis, Framme and Clanne.

Ridersbane is an Engage weapon (usable while Engaged) that grants effective damage versus Cavalry foes. Here, Diamant is Engaging with Sigurd to use it.

Diamant is a Level 3 Lord with a Silver Sword. Oddly, his stats seem to fit a promoted unit, but we know his starting class is Lord. Here’s Diamant as a Level 12 Lord with lower stats.
