Fire Emblem Engage: Cramme Tidbits via Twitter

Okay, it seems like the official Japanese Fire Emblem Twitter isn’t doing daily Fire Emblem Engage Twitter posts, but weekly ones instead.

This week, they’re showcasing Cramme, the young mage boy who seems to join near the start of the game.

His profile:

Cramme (Kōhei Amasaki) is a 33rd generation Dragon Guardian, protecting the Divine Dragon at the Land of Lythos, alongside Vander. He is Framme’s older twin brother and was by Alear’s side when they awoke. A gentle priest who serves–and is also a fan of–Alear.

For the record, we don’t know what his English name is. In the Japanese version, his name is Kuran (Clan etc.). But considering his sister was renamed from Furan (Fran) to Framme, I tried to do something similar.

Here’s a video of Cramme performing a critical hit in battle, using the Fire spell.

Judging from the background, this seems to be the same map where Framme was fighting an Elusian Soldier in the reveal trailer. The enemy that Cramme is fighting (some kind of armoured knight) is also labelled as an Elusian Soldier.

Fire Emblem Engage: Alear & Vander Tidbits via Twitter

With the exception of the weekend, it seems, the Japanese Fire Emblem Twitter has been posting daily about Fire Emblem Engage. Some of the info is stuff from the reveal trailer, but there’s some new stuff scattered around too.

First up is a short clip showing Alear in battle, performing a critical hit.

This seems to occur in the very first map (not counting a potential Premonition map), since Alear is Level 1 and the Dragon Guardian twins haven’t joined your party yet (currently they’re NPCs).

Interestingly, the Forest tile provides 30 Avoid.

The foes on the map are the Corrupted, although they’re labelled as ??? because presumably Alear doesn’t know what they are yet. At this point, Alear hasn’t summoned Marth yet.

The above screenshots from the reveal trailer, I believe are from the same map. I think the map will end with Alear reuniting with the twins. But then they become surrounded by the Corrupted and Alear summons Marth to deal with them.

Next is a bunch of info for Vander, the older Dragon Guardian.

His profile:

Vander (VA Yōji Ueda) is a 32nd generation “Dragon Guardian”, protectors of the Divine Dragon at the Land of Lythos. Cared for Alear who was asleep for ages and a reliable ally who’s sworn loyalty to Alear. Very serious and strict; the guardians’ mission is at the forefront of his mind.

Heroes: September Feh Channel & New Heroes with Rearmed Líf

Ahead of the next New Heroes trailer, the Fire Emblem Heroes team have dropped a surprise Feh Channel on us.

First up is a cinematic trailer showcasing Líf’s struggles. You can also view it separately, here.

Rearmed Heroes

Afterwards, we’re introduced to a new version of him, Líf: Arcane Blade. Nope, this isn’t Ascended Líf, but a new type of Hero known as Rearmed Heroes.

Rearmed Heroes have unique “Arcane Weapons” that can be inherited by other Heroes. In addition, when using Rearmed Heroes as a source ally for inheriting skills, the Rearmed Hero will not disappear. However, they cannot be used as a source ally for inheritance a second time.

After being used as a source ally for inheritance, the Rearmed Hero will retain all of their previous skills too. They’ll also function exactly like other Heroes, so you can still merge them etc.

Fire Emblem Engage: Revisiting the June 2022 Leaked Screenshots

Normally, we at Serenes Forest don’t report on rumours or leaks. This is because 90% of the time, they end up being utter nonsense. However, on rare occasions, some of them turn out to be true. Like when we covered the Three Houses leaked information via thanibomb.

Way back, during mid June 2022, a new Reddit user called miasmadelta posted some information about Fire Emblem Engage (and other things), with four screenshots to back up their statements.

As we know Engage ended up being real and the screenshots align with the official trailer. With that said, I think we should be critical of the non-screenshot information. The screenshots can be scrutinised, but there’s no way to prove what the user said is true or false. Therefore, we’ll only dive into the screenshots.
